Luna continued petting Lulu, unable to resist the adorable little creature.
"You didn't make this difficult for Leon, did you?" Luna asked as she picked up the little fox and gently laughed while looking at her sister.
Millie shook her tiny head silently and said, "No, I didn't."
"Were there any who came to complain to you?" Leon asked, but Millie shook her head again. Luna kept talking with Millie as she leaned in, showing how much she missed her sister during her absence.
Meanwhile, Leon unsummoned the last creature he had summoned, bringing things back to calm. He then turned toward Luna.
"So, what's your class now?" Leon asked.
Luna responded, "It's called Night Lord, a shadow mage combined with assassin skills," she said, to which Leon nodded.
"Night Lord, huh? That sounds powerful," Leon remarked, rubbing his chin.
"It is," Luna replied confidently.
"How about I lead you out of the city tomorrow and help you raise your level a bit?" she suggested. Leon nodded, knowing it was an opportunity he'd been waiting for, as he had his own goals to meet too.
"Let's go tomorrow then. You should rest tonight," Leon said, and Luna nodded in agreement.
"Yes, I miss my sister too," Luna said as she stood up.
While Luna got ready, Leon went to cook dinner using the ingredients Roselia had brought. A few minutes later, Luna entered the kitchen with a surprised expression. "Where did you get all of this?" she asked, looking at the magical stove and the abundance of rare food ingredients Leon was preparing.
"My familiar brought them for me," Leon explained, causing Luna to raise an eyebrow.
"Familiar? Who is it?" she asked.
"She's a demoness—Roselia. My familiar," Leon replied casually, and Luna nodded thoughtfully.
"Hmm," Luna mused, sitting at the table as Leon continued cooking.
As Leon continued cooking, the rich aroma of the ingredients filled the room. Luna leaned back in her chair, watching him work, her mind wandering between the new developments of the day.
"So, a demoness as a familiar?" Luna asked with a intrigued smile. "You're collecting quite the entourage, Leon."
Demons are notorious for their bad deed after all, most of the menance caused in Tower is done by Demons and other Dark creatures.
Leon chuckled. "She's powerful and resourceful, plus I trust her. Besides, she's... well, she's different from the others."
Luna raised an eyebrow. "Different how?"
"She's loyal, but not because of a contract or some forced obligation," Leon said, stirring the pot. "She chose to be with me, and that's why I value her even more."
Luna nodded, understanding the weight behind those words. In a world filled with power struggles, where strength often dictated relationships, having someone who stayed out of genuine loyalty was rare.
"She sounds interesting. Maybe I'll meet her tomorrow before we head out," Luna said, standing up to grab a plate as Leon finished cooking.
"Yeah, you should," Leon replied with a grin, placing the food on the table.
They sat down to eat in comfortable silence, both lost in thought about the next steps they would take. Tomorrow was a big day—Luna's advancement to Epic-tier class and Leon's own plans. It was clear that they were both growing stronger, but the path ahead was full of uncertainties.
As they finished eating, Luna stood up, stretching. "I'll get some rest now. We've got a long day ahead tomorrow."
"Yeah, goodnight," Leon said, watching her leave. He cleaned up the dishes and, after a moment of quiet contemplation, decided to check on Roselia.
Heading back to his room, Leon opened the door to find Roselia still resting, her peaceful expression a stark contrast to her usual confident demeanor. He smiled to himself, thinking about how much things had changed since he first summoned her.
"We're getting stronger," he whispered, closing the door quietly behind him. Tomorrow, they'd continue moving forward.
Leon sat on bed as he thought " The other guy who was helping Brain as also an Tier III, but unlike the fool Brian, defeating him with deception would be difficult" he thought as he wondered.
"I just have to reach the peak of Tier II, and then I'll be able to summon and keep those beings for long enough to defeat him. Not only that, but with the increase in strength, I'll also be able to defend the city better," Leon thought, a determined glint in his eyes.
He leaned back, the weight of his ambition settling on his shoulders. His Origin Conjurer abilities were steadily growing, and with just a little more progress, he'd unlock the power he needed to stand against his enemies.
"I should wrap everything up in just a month," Leon mused, feeling the urgency of his plans. Every decision he made now was a step toward not only his survival but his dominance over the challenges ahead.
His mind raced with strategies, envisioning the battles to come. He knew that power alone wouldn't be enough—he needed to outthink his opponents as well. The city was a complicated web of politics and hidden agendas, and only with careful maneuvering could he maintain control and protect those who relied on him.
"I'll get there," he told himself, confident but cautious. The peak of Tier II wasn't far off, but he had to be patient.
Leon stood up, taking a deep breath as he contemplated his next moves. The city was still buzzing with activity, and he knew that his enemies wouldn't wait for him to grow stronger. Time was precious.
He made his way to the window, gazing out at the bustling streets below. Luna's return was reassuring, but the threat of the City Lord affiliate loomed ever closer. Their eyes were always watching, searching for any weaknesses to exploit.
"I can't afford to be careless," Leon muttered to himself. He needed to keep a low profile while growing his strength, but he also had to gather information—especially on the City Lord's forces.
