Millie nodded as she looked at the little fox, petting it gently. "How about Lulu?" she suggested. The fox looked up at Millie and happily wagged its tail in response.
"Lulu it is!" Millie beamed, watching as the little fox wagged its tail, clearly approving of the new name. She cuddled Lulu, who nuzzled into her with a content purr.
Leon smiled, feeling relieved that the summoning had gone well this time. "Looks like she likes the name, Millie."
Millie nodded enthusiastically. "She's perfect! I can't wait to play with her more."
Leon watched the two with a sense of accomplishment. "Just make sure to take care of her. She's special."
Millie looked up at him with determination. "I will! Lulu and I are going to be best friends."
Leon smiled as he left her, going to the next room as he contemplated his ability. "Is it dependent on my will?" he thought to himself.
"What do you think, Cherry?" Leon asked as Cherry materialized and sat on his shoulder.
[Most likely, your ability responds to your will,] she replied, and Leon nodded.
"Maybe that's why when I asked for a powerful summon, it summoned a... Lesser Cthulhu," Leon nodded to himself.
Leon chuckled at the memory of the unintended summoning. "Guess I need to be more careful with what I wish for."
Cherry perched comfortably on his shoulder, swinging her tiny legs as she offered more insight. [Yes, it seems like the power is influenced by both your will and intent. The clearer you are with your desires, the more controlled your summons will be.]
Leon scratched his chin thoughtfully. "So if I focus on what I want—like with Lulu—I can summon something specific instead of another... tentacle horror."
[Exactly. Focus your intent next time, and you'll likely avoid another Cthulhu mishap,] Cherry said with her same emotionless face.
Leon grinned. "Alright, let's experiment with more control next time. No more eldritch surprises."
Thus, Leon began training with his Origin Conjurer ability, determined to master the nuances of his summoning power. He focused on various targets, aiming to refine his skills and better understand how his will influenced the outcome of each summoning.
In the initial stages, Leon summoned a series of bizarre creatures, each more peculiar than the last. One moment, he was greeted by a small, mischievous imp with vibrant green skin and glowing eyes that seemed to sparkle with mischief. The imp giggled and danced around him, causing Leon to laugh as he realized he had inadvertently summoned a trickster rather than a fearsome foe.
Next, he tried to conjure an undead warrior, hoping to command a skeleton to practice combat maneuvers. Instead, he found himself face-to-face with a clumsy, rotting zombie that stumbled over its own feet, groaning in confusion. Leon couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all, quickly realizing that mastering this power would require more focus and intention.
Determined to refine his abilities, he took a deep breath, clearing his mind and centering his thoughts. "Okay, let's try again," he said, focusing intently on the vision of a formidable undead knight clad in rusted armor.
As he channeled his will, the air around him shimmered, and with a flash of dark energy, the knight appeared before him. This time, the result was closer to what he had envisioned: a towering figure with a skull for a face and a tattered cape billowing behind it. The knight raised its sword, ready to serve Leon without question.
"Perfect!" Leon exclaimed, feeling a surge of pride. "This is more like it."
However, as he continued his training, he discovered that some summoning attempts would lead to unexpected and often humorous results. One time, he envisioned a majestic griffin, only to end up with a plump, feathery bird that barely resembled the legendary creature, flapping its wings in vain.
Leon realized that while his power was formidable, it also had a whimsical side. Each failed attempt taught him more about the importance of clarity in his intentions. He found himself laughing through the trials, grateful for the lessons hidden within the absurdity of it all.
As the day wore on, he felt a growing sense of control over his powers, noting that his connection with each summon was deepening. With practice and patience, he was sure he could summon not just strange creatures, but powerful allies to aid him on his journey.
As the night deepened, casting a blanket of stars across the sky, Leon finished his training session with a satisfied grin. His room was filled with the remnants of his earlier summoning attempts—a playful imp still giggling to itself, a bewildered zombie shuffling in a corner, and the undead knight standing stoically as Leon contemplated his next moves.
Just then, the door creaked open, and Luna stepped inside. Her long, silver hair shimmered in the dim light, and her eyes glowed like twin moons. "I'm back," she announced, her voice a melodic whisper that immediately captured Leon's attention.
"Luna! How was your outing?" Leon asked, eager to hear about her experiences.
Luna smiled, her expression thoughtful. "I successfully advanced my class to Epic tier."
"Great! But you're late. Did something happen on the way?" Leon asked, despite already knowing what had occurred.
"Yes, the city lord's son saw me, so I had to hide longer than I intended," Luna sighed.
"by the way where is Millie?" Luna asked looking around.
Leon nodded, then said, "Millie, there."
Luna nodded as she went to see her sister, completely ignoring the summoned beings, thinking it might be Leon's class skill.
She reaching the hall, her eyes widen as she saw Millie playing with a little fox, Luna looked at Fox as her own girlish heart screamed 'Cute!!'
'what is this cute creature?' She thought to herself as she looked at the Fox.
"sister!" Millie on the other hand seeing Luna screamed and then rush to her, hugging her she smiled.
Luna patted her little head as she asked " You didn't do anything bad did you?" She asked smiling.
Millie shook her head as she grabbed the fox and showed to Luna "meet Lulu, Leo summoned her for me"
Luna nodded as she patted the little fox too.
