Capítulo 29: Avoiding Her All Night

Xander held Aurora's gaze for a moment, slightly taken aback by her quick wit after he momentarily lost himself.

She was supposed to focus more on the murder he committed and not on him given her current erratic emotional state. But no, she chose to be smart this time.

Xander pressed a button on his desk and as soon as a red light showed, he leaned in. "Come in," he instructed and relaxed back into his seat.

"Sweetheart, we are done for today," he smiled at Aurora as he rubbed his hands together with a satisfactory smirk.

Aurora's entire face was contorted in disbelief. "You're seriously not going to confess the real job you're hiding behind your disguise at DANTE Group?"

"I believe I have done a good job today, now, it's time for my meeting," he replied.
