Capítulo 15: 'Biological Immortality' card

Shaman looked at me in surprise after hearing my words.
"You want Chinglian. Then why are you after me?" Shaman asked, his voice trembling with fear.
"I'm here to tell you that Mujin Jin is dead. And soon, his wife will come to you. I want them both," I said as I turned to leave.
"Are you the one who became Mujin Jin's disciple and then killed him?" Shaman asked with a serious expression from behind me.
"Does that bother you? If you want, I can send you to him," I replied, turning back towards him.
"No, no, I don't want to go to him. I just have one question. Where is his second disciple?" He stood up, fixing his pants hastily, and came closer to me.
"Why do you want to know about him?" I asked, turning back to face him.
"I just want a child I can use as a sacrifice. Besides, he might want to find his master's killer and seek revenge. If I have him with me, I can handle him." Shaman said, waiting for my response.
"He's on a hill near the sea. You can keep him if you want, but I need that woman and the child. And if I find out you've caused him even the slightest trouble, I'll make you and your only son suffer so much that you'll beg for death," I replied, glaring at him with a terrifying look.
Shaman, who had mustered a bit of courage to speak to me, collapsed to the ground in fear once again.
"Why does his face resemble the leader of the Yamazakis? Could he be his child?" Shaman thought to himself, his body trembling at the realization. He slowly lifted his head to look at me, terrified.
[ Ding… Host, you have completed the mission of humiliating the Shaman. Your system has been updated. ]
[ Ding… Host, you have conquered Chinglian. Your reward has been delivered to the system. ]
As I left the house, the system panel appeared, notifying me with a message.
"Alright, first, open the reward package for conquering Chinglian."
[ Ding… Host, you have received a Master-level card titled 'Biological Immortality'. ]
"Wow! Does this make me immortal? I've got a healing factor like Deadpool!" I exclaimed excitedly, looking at the card.
[ Host, it doesn't have that kind of power. ]
"What do you mean? Didn't you say it grants immortality?" I snapped at the system, annoyed by its response.
[ Host, you always jump to conclusions without hearing the full explanation. ]
"Then hurry up and explain," I said irritably as I headed towards the car dealership.
[ Host, the explanation of the 'Biological Immortality' card is as follows:
Your growth hormones will increase to a certain level, and once your body reaches an ideal or "perfect" state of growth, the aging process will stop. This condition is referred to as "biological immortality," where the body is free from aging and halts at that stage. ]
"So, it's like immortality, but not exactly. Still, it's a great card that will keep me alive and free from aging."
"Haha! Who wouldn't want the power to live indefinitely?" I thought, laughing loudly, as I threw away my umbrella and stretched my arms wide, soaking in the heavy rain with joy.
