Capítulo 30: Wives and Such? He Doesn’t Like Them at All!

Yun Feng's journey was absolutely safe.

Thankfully, Yun Feng had spent time crafting soul devices, so the past three years were not wasted. Although he had only successfully created three items—a motorcycle, a storage soul device, and a Desert Eagle handgun—he still felt accomplished. The first two were unique, but Yun Feng had crafted several Desert Eagles, along with plenty of soul-powered bullets.

He was curious to see how these mystical-mechanical hybrids would compare to Tang San's hidden weapons. Could they outshine them?

As for the soul-powered motorcycle, it wasn't something he had originally put much thought into. It was just a toy for himself. Yet now, it had proven incredibly useful. The journey from Holy Soul Village to the mountains took only three days with the motorcycle. If he had been traveling on foot, it would've taken at least half a month.

After a night's rest, Yun Feng set out the next morning. The bright sunlight bathed him, making it seem like he was cloaked in a shimmering robe. The cliff in front of him, just as described in the original story, was a steep ninety degrees. However, it wasn't an entirely smooth wall—it had many protruding rocks that made climbing possible.

After surveying the area, Yun Feng summoned his martial spirit. His enormous Blue Silver Grass spirit appeared, wrapping around his body like an octopus. Its barbed tendrils sank into the mountainside, securing his grip. Once he got used to being covered by the Blue Silver Grass, Yun Feng began climbing up the cliff. The combination of barbs and his soul power made it feel like he was using tentacles to scale the wall.

Seeing that his method was effective, Yun Feng quickened his pace. Whenever he got tired, he would rely on the Blue Silver Grass's barbs to rest against the cliff. What initially seemed like a difficult task now felt manageable.

Time passed quickly. Within an hour, Yun Feng had crossed several towering mountains. He did encounter some soul beasts, but most were only ten or a hundred years old. A simple swing of his Blue Silver Grass would send them flying, leaving him with no pressure at all. Ignoring the beasts, Yun Feng continued climbing upward.

At some point, the temperature of the sun had noticeably risen, and the wind against the cliff was biting against Yun Feng's face. But soon, he heard the sound of water crashing down.

"Roar—"

Yun Feng could feel the mist spreading around him. Excited, he climbed faster, knowing his destination was close.

Reaching the top of the cliff, Yun Feng's hand, still covered by the Blue Silver Grass, grasped the edge. With a push, he pulled himself up. Gazing at the blue sky and the massive waterfall in the distance, Yun Feng grinned in satisfaction.

"Even with the help of Blue Silver Grass, this climb wasn't easy," he muttered, rubbing his sore shoulders and legs. He sat down, pulled out a thermos of hot water from his storage soul device, set up a stove, and began preparing a meal right there on the spot.

He wasn't just hungry. Over the years, Yun Feng had developed a habit of always keeping himself in peak condition before tackling anything important. Drinking hot water and filling his stomach helped him recover quickly.

As he cooked, Yun Feng observed his surroundings. The waterfall emptied into a huge, crystal-clear pool, and a forest surrounded the water's edge. This really was a beautiful spot, and if it weren't so remote, it might make an excellent place to live. The landscape was serene, with lush trees and vibrant patches of Blue Silver Grass growing all around. Some of the Blue Silver Grass had even reached the level of ten-year-old soul beasts!

This was remarkable, given how difficult it was for Blue Silver Grass to cultivate on its own. Even when enough time passed, it wouldn't necessarily evolve into a soul beast without outside help. The strength of a soul beast wasn't just determined by its age, but by a complex set of factors unique to each species.

For Blue Silver Grass to reach the ten-year level naturally? That would be the equivalent of a human genius! But, of course, that only applied to Blue Silver Grass.

After eating his fill, Yun Feng stretched his body and stared at the waterfall, which stood at two hundred meters tall and twenty meters wide. He chuckled mischievously to himself.

"Wives and such? Heh, not my thing!"

With a grin, he summoned his martial spirit again, covering himself in Blue Silver Grass. He glanced at the cliff beside the waterfall. Although it was slick with moss from the constant mist, it was still easier to climb than attempting to scale the waterfall directly.

Yun Feng circled the waterfall to survey the area and noticed that one section of the cliff had significantly less moss than the rest. He didn't need to think twice to figure out why! This patch had likely been worn down over time, trampled on by someone else.

This discovery made Yun Feng's task much easier. He now had a clear path to follow. This must have been left by Tang Hao. The missing moss was a sign of where someone had previously climbed, wearing down the plant life. All Yun Feng had to do was follow this path, and finding A Yin's cave would be much simpler.

Without wasting any time, Yun Feng began climbing again. With the help of the Blue Silver Grass's barbs, he quickly reached the midpoint of the waterfall. From here, things would get tricky. He needed to find the cave hidden behind the waterfall. Since he couldn't see where it was from the outside, he'd have to feel his way through.

Climbing a two-hundred-meter waterfall wasn't easy. The powerful torrent of water crashing down made it nearly impossible to ascend. Yun Feng didn't have the same overwhelming strength as Tang Hao, who could reverse the flow of the water with sheer soul power. All Yun Feng could rely on was his martial spirit and his own soul power. One wrong move, and he could be severely injured, if not worse.

Yun Feng cautiously approached the waterfall and used a tendril of Blue Silver Grass to probe for secure footholds. Once he was confident it was safe, he wedged the grass's barbs into the rock and secured his grip.

With everything in place, Yun Feng plunged into the waterfall. The moment he entered, an enormous force pressed against him, nearly overwhelming him. If he hadn't been prepared, that pressure alone could've knocked him unconscious.

After taking a moment to adjust, Yun Feng began his search. Thankfully, not all parts of the waterfall were equally dangerous—there were pockets where the water didn't hit as hard.

According to the original setting, A Yin's hiding place should be around the midpoint of the waterfall, about a hundred meters up.
