Capítulo 234: Chapter 234: Dragonite Comes and Goes Like the Wind

A week had passed since returning to Pallet Town. During this week, Ash took his Pokémon to the coast south of the Laboratory for training every day. The training process was very difficult; even the Pokémon who were used to the previous training felt tired after intensive special training.

But this kind of exhaustion was worth it. Although it was only a short week, their strength had significantly improved compared to before, especially Aerodactyl's!

Aerodactyl itself belonged to the gym-level Pokémon. Under normal circumstances, it was very difficult to improve after reaching this level. But Aerodactyl's talent was extraordinary, having reached the gym level by relying solely on its own talent.

After training according to the plan designed by Ash and Brock, its strength improved significantly, proving that its talent hadn't been fully realized.

Aerodactyl, who felt his own changes, was indeed very happy. Although his rank hadn't changed, he felt that his current self could effortlessly defeat his past self from ten weeks ago.

In addition to Aerodactyl, Beedrill and Tauros also showed significant improvement. Beedrill's original strength had reached the Silver level, but after this week's intensive training, it further broke through its current rank and reached the Silver level .

The same was true for Tauros. As the leader of a group carefully selected by Ash in the wilderness area, its strength was also at the boundary of the Silver level. After intensive training, it also broke through the ranks and entered the Silver level.

The other Pokémon had also improved more or less. Although there were no breakthroughs, their strength had increased. After all, it had only been a week.

During this time, Haunter and Pidgeot surprised Ash. Haunter had been asking Pidgeot for advice on the secret skills Aerial Ace and the three-stage attack. Although he hadn't learned those two moves yet, he had learned some tricks.

Haunter changed the technique of using Phantom Force. After entering the special space of Phantom Force, he could now open two entrances and exits simultaneously, allowing him to choose one of these two entrances to attack.

Although it wasn't as powerful as the secret skill Aerial Ace, the emergence of this skill significantly improved Haunter's combat ability.

During this period, Misty also worked hard to improve herself, and Brock assisted them, offering suggestions and helping prepare food for the Pokémon.

"Everyone, it's time. Let's take a rest and get ready for lunch." Looking at the time, it was already eleven o'clock. Ash asked the Pokémon to rest and eat to replenish their strength.

"Pika~!" Hearing this, Pikachu shouted, calling for all his companions to stop and return to the temporary camp first.

The Pokémon returned to the camp one after another and found a place to rest. They had been training vigorously throughout the morning, and their physical strength was exhausted, so they needed to replenish and recover.

Ash and Misty immediately took the lunch prepared by Brock and distributed it to the Pokémon. Seeing the tired looks of the Pokémon, Ash thought they should rest for a day or two so that they wouldn't be so tense.

"Well, let the Pokémon rest this afternoon and tomorrow. I think their current situation is a bit too much," Ash discussed with Misty and Brock.

"I was going to suggest that you let the Pokémon rest tomorrow." Brock hadn't expected Ash to notice. As a breeder, he knew the Pokémon's current situation and had planned to propose it to Ash.

"Then it's decided." Ash glanced at Misty, and after seeing that she had no objection, he made the decision.

"Everyone, you don't need to train this afternoon or tomorrow. Take a good rest and train again the day after tomorrow!" Ash shouted loudly to the Pokémon.

The Pokémon were slightly startled when they heard the words, and then cheered. Although they enjoyed seeing their strength improve, it would be better if they had time to relax.

Seeing the excited faces of the Pokémon, Ash nodded slightly. It seemed that he couldn't ignore this point in the future. Pokémon were not machines but creatures with their own thoughts.

Because of the afternoon rest, Ash and his group didn't go back after dinner. They simply started playing at the beach and planned to leave in the evening.

While everyone was playing, a black shadow approached in the distance, flying in the sky. The first to notice it were Charizard and Pikachu, both of whom felt a powerful aura approaching.

"What's the matter?" Ash noticed the two's abnormality, followed their line of sight, and also found the black shadow rapidly approaching. Misty and Brock also saw it.

The black shadow was incredibly fast. In just a few seconds, it had crossed nearly a thousand meters and appeared above Ash and the others. As it stopped, a hurricane-like gust of wind blew, kicking up sand on the beach.

"Dragonite?!" As the wind subsided and they lowered their hands from their faces, Ash, Misty, and Brock saw the newcomer's true identity. It was a Dragonite, a pseudo-legendary Pokémon!

Dragonite is a bipedal Pokémon, about two meters tall, with an orange body.

Strength: Elite level

"An elite-level Dragonite!" Ash's pupils shrank. Although he'd seen Pokémon stronger than the elite level, the sudden appearance of such a powerful Dragonite startled him.

"Roar!" Aerodactyl glared fiercely at Dragonite, feeling immense pressure from its presence. The other Pokémon felt the same, except for Charizard and Pikachu, who remained relatively calm.

But Dragonite didn't react with anger. Instead, it smiled gently at the Pokémon, pointed to the bag it was carrying, and then gestured towards Ash.

"What does it mean...?" Misty asked nervously, not understanding Dragonite's intentions.

"Draa!" Dragonite simply took an envelope from its satchel, ignoring the Pokémon's threats, approached Ash, and handed it to him.

"A letter?" Witnessing this scene, Misty and Brock were stunned.

"Draa!" Dragonite nodded slightly, and before anyone could react, it soared into the sky. As another gust of wind swept through, it swiftly disappeared from sight.

"It's so fast..." Dragonite's speed was undeniable, and the Pokémon who were happy about the rest suddenly felt double the pressure.

Initially, they felt their strength had improved significantly, and they were content with a good rest. However, after witnessing Dragonite's power, they felt a renewed sense of urgency.
