Capítulo 2: Unexpected turn of events
'Hi ! do you remember me, Recce asked Svetlana.
How can i forget a guy who was sent by my ex-boyfriend to break up with me.
He felt embarrassed because of it and he saw how it had taken a toll on her.
" Enough your drunk!" He said. While taking the glass away from her hand.
'Let me drive you home.'He said.
Recce took her jacket ,purse and helped her to stand up but she was resisting.
' I do not want to go with you, i don't know you".
Recce didn't pay attention to what she was saying.
They arrived at his car and he got her inside, she was still mumbling .
'What is your home's address?'He asked.
'She passed out.'
He didn't know what to do next then he thought to himself,' let me take her to my home.'
He does not like taking random women to his place. But for this situation with Svetlana he had too.
When they reached at his place he carried her to the guest room he removed her clothes and changed her into his T-shirt. He observed her and thought she is an attractive woman.
Recce went back to his room , took a shower.
Mika is on the other side of town partying with his new girlfriend partying. He always took matters lightly
****Morning***
Svetlana woke up her head hurting,looking around she was at unfamiliar place.
The guest room in the penthouse flat was huge, light and airy. It had a floor length windows, grey fitted carpet.
Checking between the sheets she had only a T-shirt on.She was in shock with a lot of questions.
'Oh God'.
'How did i get here? Did i just have sex with some random guy?'
She looked around and saw her clothes and purse . She woke up quickly dressed up carried her shoes , tiptoeing down the stairs slowly and silently. She didn't want to be noticed leaving.
She was also most at the door when she had someone saying.
' Leaving already without saying a thank you for last night.' Svetlana turned around. Shocked to see it was Recce seated at the table having breakfast.
'You!'
Why did you bring me here? Did we have sex?. Recce smiled.
Keeping her in suspense a little longer. He was enjoying her reaction. He stood up and went next to her.
'No we did not.' I like my women conscious.
She was relieved.
'Thank you for last night. '
And turned around wanting to leave, She was embarrassed. What must he be think of me now?
Recce she reached up to her before she unlocked the door.
'Why are you in a hurry won't you join me for breakfast.' He asked.
She met his eyes. 'Am not , i have a meeting to attend to.'
She opened the door and left.
Recce was left standing looking at the strong headed, woman who just turned him down.
Svetlana called Lucia immediately after she saw that she had tried to call her severally from last night. She must be worried she thought.
Phone ringing.....Lucia picked up.
'Where have you been you? Are you alright?' I have been worried sick about you all night.
'Am fine.' Svetlana responded.
I will explain everything later i have to get to the office.
'How is my little man?' She asked.
He is fine he asked about you this morning. Lucia responded.
'Okay, will see you guys later have to go.'She said while hanging up.
At the office everybody was at the board room meeting waiting for Svetlana. Wondering it's unlike her to arrive late for a meeting. But she was the boss, nobody can question her. Her company know for the best medicines in the world.
Upon reaching the office her secretary Michelle her personal assistant approached her took her bag.
And handed her the coffee she had requested. And the files needed for the meeting.
'They are waiting for you in the boardroom.' Michelle said.
She was meeting the board of directors to discuss the new mRNA vaccine for cervical cancer she had invented.
After the meeting she went back to her office to finish up some work.
Then she tried to recall the events that occurred last night. Trying to remember what could not. She was so embarrassed at herself because it's unlike her to get drunk and end up at a strangers home.
She thought to herself. 'Recce is not such a bad guy after all.'
A couple of days had gone by not a word from Mika and she had started to embraced the break up.
She decided to take her son to the beach, it was a warm and sunny day.They swimming, running around the beach . When a masculine handsome guy was walking towards them along the beach.
