Capítulo 121: Worried Her Eyes Playing Tricks On Her

"It's fine, Brody..." Abigail immediately stopped Brody, who looked like he wanted to beat Lana. She faintly smiled at him, trying to make him less tense. 

"Brody, she won't harm me. Please wait for me for a minute..." Abigail added. When she saw Brody's reluctance to move, she realized he must have seen Lana in the meeting room with Kian earlier and thought Lana might harm her. 

After watching Brody walk away and stand in the closest corner of the room, Abigail turned to Lana. 

"Do you have any questions for me, Lana?" she asked coldly. 

Lana immediately nodded and stepped closer, standing just a step away from Abigail. "I'm sorry, Abigail. I know I hurt you with my stance on Kian, but—" Her voice trailed off when she saw Abigail raise her hand to signal her to stop.
