Capítulo 99: To Soul Society we go

The hidden training grounds beneath Urahara's shop were vast, almost impossibly so, resembling a sunlit wasteland surrounded by high stone walls. Kisuke Urahara adjusted his hat, grinning mischievously as Ichigo Kurosaki stood at the center, Zanpakuto gripped tightly.

"Alright, Ichigo," Urahara began, his tone deceptively casual. "Time to take that raw power of yours and actually make it useful. Today, we're unlocking your Bankai—and I don't mean the halfway version you've been using."

Ichigo tilted his head. "What do you mean 'halfway'? I thought my Bankai was complete."

Harry snorted from the sidelines. "Kid, you're still playing checkers while others are playing chess. Your real power isn't even fully realized yet."

With a deep breath, Ichigo nodded. "Fine. Let's do this."

Urahara wasted no time, bringing out a specialized doll—Tenshintai—to forcefully summon Zangetsu's spirit for direct combat. The grizzled old man who represented Ichigo's Quincy powers and the Hollow-fused Zangetsu emerged together, their forms merging into Ichigo's truest self.

"You're finally ready to understand me," Zangetsu said, his voice calm but firm. "But to wield my power, you must overcome your doubts."

The battle that ensued was brutal. Zangetsu's strikes were impossibly fast, testing Ichigo's reflexes and resolve. Each swing of his blade forced Ichigo to think, adapt, and grow. After countless hours, sweat-drenched and battered, Ichigo finally broke through his limits.

"Bankai!" Ichigo roared, his blade shattering and reforming into its true form. Black and white energy spiraled around him, and his Horn of Salvation materialized. His Bankai—a perfect blend of Hollow, Quincy, and Shinigami powers—shone with unparalleled might.

Harry clapped slowly. "Not bad, kid. But power's useless if you can't use it right."

The next phase of training was about balance. Urahara and Harry both knew Ichigo's raw strength would mean nothing without versatility. They introduced him to spells, techniques, and abilities from every aspect of his heritage.

Ichigo struggled at first to grasp Kido, but Harry's explanations clicked for him.

"Kido is about focus," Harry said. "You shape your spiritual energy into a spell, directing it with both intent and incantation. Bakudo binds and restrains, while Hado attacks."

Ichigo's first attempts were clumsy. His Bakudo barely held together, and his Hado often misfired. But hours of relentless practice bore fruit. Soon, he could seamlessly cast spells like Bakudo 61: Rikujokoro to paralyze his targets and Hado 33: Sokatsui to launch devastating blasts of blue fire.

One evening, after an intense sparring session, Ichigo found himself badly injured. Gripping his trembling hands together, he focused his energy and muttered the incantation for Kaido—the healing Kido. A soft green light enveloped his wounds, knitting flesh and muscle back together.

Ichigo's Hollow powers came more naturally, driven by instinct. Under Harry's guidance, he perfected the Gran Rey Cero. The technique required mixing blood into the Cero, amplifying its destructive power tenfold.

"Control the surge," Harry said as Ichigo prepared his first attempt. "A Gran Rey Cero isn't just about raw energy—it's about compressing and releasing it at the perfect moment."

Ichigo nodded, biting his thumb to draw blood and mixing it with his spiritual energy. A swirling sphere of crimson energy formed in his palm, vibrating with untamed power. With a deep roar, he released it, obliterating a section of the training grounds.

Harry grinned. "Now that's progress."

Quincy techniques were another challenge. Ichigo had to master the Hirenkyaku, a high-speed movement akin to Flash Step, and the creation of spirit weapons. Uryu Ishida, reluctantly roped into the training, helped refine these skills.

One afternoon, Harry stepped into the training arena, cracking his knuckles. "Alright, Ichigo. Let's see what you've got."

Ichigo, brimming with confidence, activated his full Bankai form. The raw power surged around him as his blade gleamed with deadly intent.

"Don't hold back!" Ichigo charged at Harry with everything he had.

Harry didn't even draw a weapon. With just his body, he evaded Ichigo's strikes, countering with perfectly timed punches and kicks that sent Ichigo sprawling.

"Too predictable," Harry said, smirking.

Frustrated, Ichigo unleashed his Hollow powers and Quincy techniques. Harry matched him blow for blow, using only the basics of each race's abilities. Finally, Harry tapped into his full power, overwhelming Ichigo entirely.

Panting and battered, Ichigo looked up at Harry. "How...how are you so strong?"

Harry knelt beside him, smiling. "Experience, Ichigo. And the willingness to embrace every part of who I am. You'll get there."

Yoruichi returned after ten days with a group of spiritually awakened individuals Ichigo's power had influenced, including Orihime and Chad. She trained them rigorously, helping them hone their unique abilities.

On the final day, the entire group gathered in the underground training grounds. Kisuke Urahara stood at the center, making the final adjustments to the portal to the Soul Society.

"All set!" Kisuke announced, stepping back.

Harry smirked, leaning against a wall. "Alright, kids. Time to storm the gates."

Ichigo glanced at the group around him, a mixture of friends, allies, and mentors. Despite the weight of their mission, he felt a surge of confidence.

As the portal activated, the group stepped through, their journey to the Soul Society beginning in earnest.
