After an exciting first few minutes, the match became relatively boring. The quality that Teesside seemed to have in possession was lost. They kept giving away the ball cheaply. As a result, Oxford City engaged on so many counter attacks, although none of them yielded any fruit.
One thing that remained constant though, was the quality of the defense. After the first goal from Teesside, Oxford City's defense were completely switched on. They thwarted any form of offensive play from Teesside.
"Goddamnit!' Omari cursed in frustration. Yet another attacking attempt had gone down the drain. He wasn't really frustrated that they didn't score, he was frustrated about the fact that play was rarely brought to his side.
