Capítulo 69: Chapter sixty nine

Alex's heart skipped a beat as he stared at the text message. Who could have taken Sophia? And what did they want from him?

He tried to call Sophia's phone, but it went straight to voicemail. He was starting to get worried.

Suddenly, his phone rang. It was an unknown number. Alex's heart was racing as he answered the call.

"Hello?" he said.

"Alex, we have Sophia," a voice said. "And if you want to see her again, you'll do exactly as we say."

Alex's grip on the phone tightened. "Who is this?" he demanded. "What do you want?"

There was a pause on the other end of the line. "We'll be in touch soon," the voice said. "Just remember, if you involve the police or anyone else, Sophia dies."

"Who the hell are you, and what have you done with Sophia?" Alex retorted.
