The night for the gala came, and Sophia had been anxious all day long. Alex had just arrived home from work to prepare for the gala that evening, and while he got dressed, Sophia filled him in on the earlier events of the day.

"Is that so? I never knew you and Emily were this close. I guess I wasn't wrong when I made her your maid." Alex said.

Sophia smiled. "Yeah... We are both getting along quite well... And I really think she deserves a reward, but I don't know what to give to her." Sophia replied.

Alex raised an eyebrow. "A reward? You seem to like this girl very much. This is the second time you are talking about rewarding her." Alex replied.

"Well, what can I say, she does a really good job," Sophia said, chuckling lightly.

"In that case, leave her reward to me. I know exactly what to do." Alex replied, a warm smile spreading across his face.
