"Whoosh whoosh!" Two bullets flew forth, striking the ground near Luo Zheng's feet. Had he not rapidly advanced a few steps just moments before, those bullets would have hit him squarely in the lower back. Luo Zheng was startled, pushed himself up with force, and continued his mad sprint. Huddling in the hollow, Luo Zheng curled up as tightly as possible to minimize his visibility to the sniper. With tingling scalp, he glanced back at the path he had come, where the sniper bullet had carved a fierce-looking hole in the ground.
