"Unfortunate events after unfortunate circumstances" I was currently walking out of the forest. it has been hours since that whole deal happened, Now i am officially traumatized. But i know this world has more monsters than skinwalkers, heck i think Analog horrors exist here…i might have jinxed myself.
Whatever, it's daytime now and i will walk around the forest for a bit.
…
(??? Pov)
I wonder how jeff left that person alive, i mean cartoon cats annoying group is really annoying, he is basically just a variant of Zalgo, ugh even my mouth tastes foul saying his name.
And i am with Lulu right about now, she wanted to kill the person and also a few skin walkers for me to feed on.
Too bad my eyes see red, sometimes black and white, makes me feel like a dog and color blind…hmm, whatever, i don't know why slender is worried about the last few days.
"Lazari, we should move quitely" Lulu said, her two empty bloody holes looked up at me.
Lulu's words cut through the silence of the forest, her eerie voice sending a chill through the stagnant air. I looked down at her, her eyeless face staring up, and despite the empty sockets, I could feel the weight of her gaze, intense and knowing. The blood that continuously seeped from those holes painted her pale cheeks, a reminder of the darkness that constantly surrounded us.
She had a point, though. The forest, as quiet as it seemed, was never truly empty. Something always lurked, something always watched. I shifted uneasily, feeling the edges of my senses prickling with anticipation. My hunger gnawed at me, but something was off. Something about this person… Jeff rarely left anyone alive unless he was playing a twisted game, and yet here we were, watching someone who had already been through hell and somehow walked out of it.
"Lulu," I muttered, my voice low and gravelly. "Why does Slender care about this one? What's so special about them?"
She shrugged, a slight twitch of her head, her dark hair falling across her blood-stained face. "Dunno. But I don't like it. There's something… off. You feel it too, right?"
I nodded. Yeah, I could feel it. The same odd sensation that had been gnawing at me ever since we'd started watching that person in the forest. It wasn't just the skinwalkers or the bloodstains they left behind. It was deeper, more unsettling, as if the very fabric of the world was bending around them. And now, after surviving whatever twisted game Jeff had set up, they were walking through this forest like nothing could touch them.
"Slender told us to observe," I said, though the words felt hollow. I hated this. Standing on the sidelines, waiting for something to happen when my instincts screamed to rip and tear. But I couldn't deny what I felt. Something was coming. Something big. And this person in the forest was at the center of it.
Lulu tilted her head, listening. "Do you hear that?"
I heard it. it felt like a faint radio static, a soft, hissing noise that seemed to come from every direction and nowhere at all. It was almost soothing, but with an undercurrent of menace that set my teeth on edge.
"Yeah, I hear it," I replied, scanning the shadows around us. The static sound seemed to pulse in rhythm with my own heartbeat, growing more insistent with each passing second. "What the hell is that?"
Lulu's head twitched slightly, her eyeless sockets tracking the sound. "It's not just static. It's a signal something is broadcasting, or trying to."
I frowned. The static was disorienting, and my senses were beginning to feel overloaded. "A signal? From where?"
"Not sure," Lulu said, her voice unnervingly calm. "But it's close. We should find the source before it finds us."
I nodded, reluctantly agreeing. The forest had an almost oppressive silence when we stopped listening to the static, but now it seemed alive, crackling with hidden energies. The trees around us felt closer, their shadows thicker, as though the very forest was conspiring against us.
I motioned for Lulu to follow as I moved carefully through the underbrush. Every snap of a twig, every rustle of leaves felt magnified, as if the forest itself was reacting to our presence. The static grew louder, more defined, and I could almost feel it vibrating through my bones.
We moved in silence, my senses alert and on edge. After a few minutes of maneuvering through the dense trees, the source of the noise became clearer. The static was now accompanied by a faint, eerie humming—an irregular rhythm that seemed to be coming from a specific direction.
I pushed through a thicket of thorny bushes and stumbled into a small clearing. At its center was an old, weather-beaten radio transmitter, its metallic frame rusted and its dials covered in grime. The device was sputtering out the static, its old speakers emitting a faint, distorted melody that made my skin crawl.
"What is this?" Lulu asked, her voice barely a whisper as she stepped beside me. Her empty sockets seemed to focus on the transmitter, though she had no eyes to see with.
I approached the device, feeling a mix of curiosity and unease. "It's an old radio transmitter. Must've been here for ages. But why is it still broadcasting?"
I reached out, my fingers brushing against the cold metal. As I did, the static grew louder, and the air around us felt charged. The transmitter's dials began to spin on their own, shifting to frequencies that emitted strange, almost musical tones inhuman and haunting.
"This isn't just random noise," I said, my voice tight with tension. "It's a signal, but for what?"
Lulu's attention was fixed on something in the distance, her gaze drawn to the trees beyond the clearing. "I think we've attracted some attention."
I turned sharply, scanning the forest. Shadows moved between the trees, too fast and too silent to be natural. The static from the transmitter seemed to attract them, a beacon in the darkness. Something was coming, and it was drawn to the signal we had inadvertently uncovered.
We needed to act fast. I grabbed the transmitter, trying to turn it off, but it resisted, the dials slipping out of my control. The static grew deafening, a chaotic storm of sound that seemed to claw at my sanity.
"Lulu, we need to get out of here!" I shouted over the noise.
She nodded, her face pale despite the blood stains. "I agree. This is getting dangerous."
Suddenly at the door, We saw a young man with black hair, ghostly green eyes and black hair. He had a cutlass in one of his hands and a shotgun at the other, he tilted hos head in confusion.
…
(Jame's POV)
I followed the sound of the radio and the hunger coming from my soul here. I saw two young looking girls here. one had orange hair and red eyes, While the other didn't have any eyes but black hair.
The sound of the radio stopped as if ehat wqs happening was interrupted. Sigh, i don't remember any supernatural being that uses radios to scare people. i am honestly tired and i already recognized these kids.
Lulu, or Fog Daughter.
Lazari, Zalgo's little spawn.
They were most probably trying to kill me, now i have two approaches to this. Go açaí see a weak psychopath and a traumatic Half Demon/Demi god, I mean like Zalgo is similar to the creatures from HP Lovecraft.
For some reason o felt refreshed, not because i met other slightly living people, no i am happy because i don't potentially need to go insane.
There are two ways for me to do this, first i exploit their weakness or o try to make peace with them. But children are often stubborn and i have lost the motivation to die.
"…Hello…Jeff's friend?" Lazari said with a forced smile. She looked scared before i got here, welp it is none of my business. i probably can't leave this town at the moment. if it was that easy, more humans would have still lived.
"Yeah no, i am not that annoying bastards friend, he tried to kill me and also he is the reason i am in this mess anywaya?!" My eyes twitched with annoyance. Lulu Akwardly looked at Lazari and then back at me.
The atmosphere was pretty silent and tense, i very much felt not normal, in fact i feel awful and disgusting and hungry, so so hungry.
"Ah ha, I usually would have just silently ripped your eyes out before killing you but i don't think i can do that for the moment" Lulu said with a bland expression. This is a very awkward situation and i have nothing to actually say. I lnow for a fact that they can try to kill me. but i could summon the lantern, it's just that the flame will tun out without a soul powering it. It is a able to repel supernatural creatures with the light from it.
