Capítulo 4: ch4-Secret

And so the next month passed with relative ease, Oliver spend some of his days accompanying the girls as they made trips to town, or were just wandering the grounds. But still spend most of his days working on his master plan, and of course increasing his physical strength.

After all, once you were in the tower, such mundane training wouldn't work anymore to increase your stats.

...

As it was the end of the 1 month worth of letters Oliver gave Analivia, she came knocking on his door in the evening, a complex look on her face. She didn't even wait a single second before asking hurriedly about them.

"Oliver, you wouldn't joke with me like this right, that last letter, is that really true, did you gain some visions from the future?"

Oliver sight, setting himself down on the sofa set in the corner of the room, indicating that Analivia should do the same with a solum gaze.

Once she sat down Oliver started explaining.

"I don't know how, or why Analivia, but that night when my parents died, I started seeing these life like memories in my sleep. It was weird, it seemed like I was inhabiting an older me. First it started with a few hours in the future, now I don't even know if I'm really ... me anymore..."

At those last words Oliver started snickering as he laid his head in his hands, unable to keep his composure. Seeing this Analivia's complicated gaze immediately disappeared as she sat herself next to Oliver, lightly stroking his back.

"Thank you Analivia, I'm sorry about telling it to you in such a weird way, but I was just scared, that you would think that I was lying, or thing of me as some freak."

Oliver stayed silent after that, waiting for Analivia to comment, and she quickly did.

"Shhh, don't ever say that Oliver, I would never think that, especially since you can't control what is happening to you, you must be so scared, my poor baby."

At those words Oliver gradually started to look at her again with his watery red eyes. Analivia, not being able to stand it started tightly hugging him.

"You mentioned in your last letter that there was something incredibly important you had to tell me right? Whenever you're ready. Please go ahead."

Oliver waited a few more seconds, acting like he was really struggling before he slowly started speaking.

"Analivia, in about 6 years, when I will be 18, there will be a disaster on earth. But that isn't the bad part, all humans will be teleported away to a place called [the tower], were the strong rein supreme. A mystical world with billions, trillions, hell probably countless different planets and lifeforms, all challenging and climbing a single tower, growing stronger along the way."

Now that Oliver had a slight pause in his story Analivia looked at him, still snuggled up in her chest, with a stern face, obviously thinking this was some kind of joke. But as Oliver finally looked her in the eyes, a desperate look in his eyes she turned from angry to scared.

"You're not joking with me right, Oliver?"

She was asking like she desperately wanted it to be a joke, but all the things Oliver had predicted, that would be a quadrillion to one, pretty much less likely than him having real foresight powers, so she stayed silent after that.

"I'm afraid not, the 3 girls I made you bring are all geniuses when it comes to their roll in my party, but I'm afraid that you aren't. At least after we get sent to the tower I never meet you again, even on the lower floors. I think it is highly possible you die on floor 0, the tutorial floor, that is why I simply had to tell you about all of this, so that all of us can prepare, and you won't die. I'm sorry for lying to you."

Now finished with his general explanation Oliver put his head back down, hugging Analivia's chest tightly, almost begging for her to stay.

She didn't say much, clearly in deep contemplation as she too hugged Oliver tightly, not wanting to let go.

"Don't worry about that Oliver, I know you were just scared and looking out for me ... thank you for telling me, how about you calm down before telling me what we are suppose to do to survive this whole ordeal."

Oliver nodded and acted like he was upset for another half an hour or so, honestly Oliver really didn't want to lie to Analivia, as she was the only person he felt he could one hundred precent trust. But as a tower resident, trust wasn't a thing Oliver was familiar with.

Now calmed down, Oliver sat himself opposite of Analivia, a table with some empty paper between them.

"First of all we need physical training, especially focused on what class we will be choosing. I already wrote it down right here."

Oliver pulled a piece of paper from his pocket.

"Than we need to give guides about their respective classes to the girls, and find a way to tell them about the disaster in 6 years without telling them about my gift. I'm also in the process of making a plan for floor 0 for each of us ..."

Oliver kept on talking for the entire night, Analivia becoming incredibly impressed how far ahead he was thinking. She also made sure to contribute wherever possible, especially when it came to breaking the news to the girls, she seemed incredibly confident she could pull that off in a year.

At the end of the night both Oliver and Analivia were exhausted, but happy at the same time. Especially Oliver, a lot of details that he had been unsure of had been ironed out. Bringing in Analivia seemed to be a good idea, especially because she was willing to take the arrangements that Oliver had prepared to make it impossible for her to betray him.

"Truely thank you Analivia, I don't know what I would have done without you."
