100% Awakening of Asuraraj Ravana / Chapter 30: The Game of Power

Capítulo 30: The Game of Power

Back in Kashi, the three companions—Rudra, Reva, and Rohan—had settled into a temporary routine, enjoying a week of well-deserved rest after their extensive pilgrimage. The serene atmosphere of the ancient city provided a welcome reprieve from their previous journeys and the looming unknowns that lay ahead. Despite the calm, Rudra's mind was never truly at rest.

In their small, comfortable apartment overlooking the Ganges, Rudra had taken to exploring something new—games and novels. Rohan had suggested it as a way to pass time and get a better sense of modern culture. After all, if Rudra were to blend in and achieve his goals in this era, he would need to understand the things that occupied the minds of this generation.

Sitting in front of a laptop Rohan had given him, Rudra scrolled through countless digital worlds—immersive games, strategy simulators, and fantasy novels. One particular trend caught his attention: the popularity of "system" novels, where protagonists were guided by a mysterious force or mechanism that gave them powers and abilities. The idea intrigued him.

As he was thinking about this he decided to create for himself to have something new and also to numerize his power. But he did not act on it right away first he decided to understand the concept better by reading varities of system related novels. And then create most optimal and powerful system of them combined.

"These systems… they allow someone to transcend normal limitations and gain influence quickly," he muttered to himself, scanning through the plotlines of several novels. "In some ways, it's similar to how I once expanded my influence and rule. Systems, hierarchies, and order."

Reva, lounging on a nearby couch with a history book in hand, noticed Rudra's deep focus. "What are you reading?"

"Something interesting," he replied, his voice contemplative. "It's strange how people create worlds of fiction with rules and mechanisms for growth. In ancient times, The pursuit of power was through knowledge and conquest. Now, it seems they do it through stories and simulations."

Rohan, sitting across the room with his own laptop, chuckled. "Games and novels can be surprisingly influential. They can inspire people, change their mindset, even shape the way they view the world. Some games have entire followings—people who live by the systems they create."

Rudra leaned back in his chair, an idea forming in his mind. "If these games are so influential, then they can be used as tools for more than just entertainment."

Reva looked up from her book, curiosity piqued. "What are you thinking?"

Rudra's eyes glimmered with the same intelligence and ambition that had once made him the great ruler of Lanka. "I'm thinking of creating my own system. A game, but one that can influence the minds of millions. If people are so drawn to these systems, I could design one that subtly guides them toward my ideals—balance and order, but also strength and wisdom."

Rohan raised an eyebrow. "Are you saying you want to develop a game?"

Rudra nodded. "A game that not only entertains but also serves a purpose. In this era, influence is no longer just about armies and territories. It's about controlling minds, shaping thoughts. A well-crafted game could spread ideas across the world faster than any military ever could."

Reva smiled, amused. "You've always been strategic, haven't you? Even in this world, you see opportunities where others might not."

Rohan, intrigued, leaned forward. "So what kind of game are you thinking of?"

Rudra paused, considering his options. "Something immersive, something that draws from the ancient world, from history and myth, but with the allure of modern systems. Perhaps a game where the player builds empires, but not just through war. They must balance power with wisdom, chaos with order. Much like what I am trying to do in reality."

Rohan's eyes lit up. "You could blend history, mythology, and modern technology. Players could learn about ancient civilizations while also engaging in strategy and personal growth. And if you tie it to a system, you could subtly introduce your philosophy."

"Exactly," Rudra said. "The system itself will be crucial. Players will be given choices—paths that align with different ideologies. They'll be able to choose between paths of chaos, order, wisdom, or strength. Each choice will lead them deeper into the game, while also shaping the world within."

Reva, ever the historian, nodded approvingly. "It sounds like you're trying to recreate what you did in your past life. Only this time, instead of ruling a physical empire, you're building an empire of ideas."

Rudra's smile was subtle, but his eyes gleamed with determination. "In a way, yes. But I won't make the same mistakes. This time, I'll understand the people, their minds, their desires. And through this game, I'll spread the balance I seek."

Rohan tapped away at his laptop, already jotting down notes. "We'll need to find developers, designers—people who can help bring this to life."

Rudra nodded. "We have the resources. Shalya's influence in the world of technology and business will help with that. But first, we must design the core concept—the system that will guide the players."

Reva leaned back, her eyes thoughtful. "This could be bigger than any empire you've ever ruled, Rudra. You're playing a long game now, one that could reach every corner of the world."

Rudra closed the laptop, standing up and gazing out the window at the river. The sun was setting over the Ganges, casting a warm glow over the ancient city of Kashi. In his mind, the pieces were already falling into place.

"A game," he said softly, almost to himself. "A system that spreads across the world. And with it, I will achieve what I set out to do—bring balance, not through force, but through influence."

As night fell over Kashi, the three companions sat in silence, each contemplating the path ahead. Rudra's mind was alive with ideas, plans that would soon take shape. The world was changing, and he would change with it. But this time, his empire would be built in the shadows, through technology and the minds of the people.

And with this first step, his new journey would truly begin.
