Power Weaknesses

Infinity Barrier Weaknesses:

1. Haki

• Armament Haki (Busoshoku Haki): Characters could use Armament Haki to reinforce their attacks, potentially allowing them to penetrate or disrupt the barrier's effect. Armament Haki allows users to bypass the defensive properties of Devil Fruits, which could make it possible to touch or hit the user despite the barrier.

• Observation Haki (Kenbunshoku Haki): This form of Haki might help in predicting the user's movements or finding a gap in their defenses, providing an opening to strike outside the reach of the barrier or when the barrier is down.

2. Devil Fruit Abilities

• Spatial Manipulation: Users with abilities that manipulate space or teleportation could potentially bypass the barrier entirely by appearing inside its perimeter. These counters could be the Ope Ope no mi and the Zushi Zushi no mi.

• Intangibility or Phase-Shifting: Certain Devil Fruits, like the Logia types, which allow the user to become intangible or transform into elements (e.g., smoke, fire, light), might manage to infiltrate or bypass the barrier's effects by changing their state of matter.

3. Overwhelming Power

• Massive Scale Attacks: Extremely powerful and large-scale attacks might overload the barrier. While the barrier slows things down, an attack of sufficiently vast size and power (like a massive sea surge or an island-splitting strike) might prove too overwhelming to be completely mitigated.

• Continuous Assault: Repeated attacks from multiple angles might stretch the user's ability to maintain the barrier, potentially leading to fatigue or a lapse in concentration.

4. Trickery and Deception

• Misdirection and Feints: Using clever tactics or misdirection could trick the user into redirecting their barrier or momentarily lowering their guard, allowing for a critical strike.

• Traps and Environmental Tactics: Setting traps or using the environment to one's advantage could circumvent the need to penetrate the barrier directly.

5. Seastone and Water

• Seastone: As with all Devil Fruit users, exposure to Seastone, which nullifies Devil Fruit powers when in contact, could disable the barrier.

• Water: Forcing the user into deep water or overwhelming them with sea water might weaken or suppress their ability to maintain the barrier, as Devil Fruit users become powerless in seawater.

6. Team Tactics

• Coordinated Attacks: Multiple users attacking in a coordinated fashion could potentially catch the barrier user off guard, exploiting brief moments when their concentration lapses or when they are managing attacks from various directions.

7. Other Techniques

• By other Techniques, I mean techniques that the MC uses himself. And by that, I mean that he cannot use the barrier with another technique, e.g, Barrier and Blue. I feel like allowing him to use a technique of his ontop of the barrier will make him as close to untouchable as he can be.

1. Blue (Attraction Force)

• Weaknesses:

• Predictability: Since Blue works by pulling objects or people toward a specific point, it could be predictable. If an opponent understands the mechanics of the ability, they might be able to counter or avoid being pulled in by using strong footing, Haki, or distance attacks.

• Range Limitation: Blue might only work effectively within a certain range. Opponents who stay outside the ability's range would not be affected by the attraction force.

• Large/Massive Objects: While Blue can create a powerful vacuum that pulls in objects, extremely large or massive objects (like ships, islands, or huge constructs) might resist being pulled in, requiring the user to expend more energy or concentration.

• Energy Drain: The use of Blue requires considerable cursed energy. Overusing it in rapid succession could exhaust the user, leaving them more vulnerable.

2. Red (Repulsion Force)

• Weaknesses:

• Backlash: The repulsive force could affect the environment in unintended ways. If the user is in a confined or fragile area, the repulsion could cause collateral damage, potentially backfiring by destroying parts of their surroundings or even destabilizing the ground beneath them.

• Heavy Opponents or Objects: While Red can push most things away, extremely heavy or rooted objects (like something anchored deep into the ground) might not be fully affected, forcing the user to use more energy to create a stronger push.

• Energy Drain: Similar to Blue, Red might have a high energy cost, particularly if used frequently or if stronger repulsion forces are needed.

• Range and Directional Limitation: Red might only push things in a straight line or within a certain field of effect. This limitation could allow opponents to dodge or counterattack from outside its direct range.

3. Hollow Purple (Destructive Combination of Blue and Red)

• Weaknesses:

• Energy Consumption: Hollow Purple is a combination of both Blue and Red, making it extremely powerful but also very draining. Using it frequently or over a long period could leave the user exhausted, making them vulnerable after the attack.

• Slower Activation: Since Hollow Purple combines two techniques, it may take slightly longer to activate compared to the individual use of Blue or Red. This delay could give skilled opponents a window to dodge or disrupt the user's focus before Hollow Purple is fully formed.

• Collateral Damage: Hollow Purple is highly destructive and erases anything in its path. In the One Piece world, this means it could cause massive collateral damage to the environment, potentially endangering allies or even the user if used carelessly in confined or unstable areas (like on a ship or in a city).

• Directional Limit: Hollow Purple might only move in a straight line or a specific direction. An opponent with high speed or teleportation abilities could avoid it by predicting its trajectory and getting out of its path.

General Weaknesses for All Three Techniques:

• Haki (Armament Haki): Advanced Armament Haki might provide resistance or protection from the effects of Blue, Red, or Hollow Purple. By coating themselves in Haki, an opponent might be able to withstand being pulled in, pushed away, or hit by the destructive force of Hollow Purple.

• Speed and Agility: Highly agile characters (like Luffy in Gear Second or Fourth) or those with teleportation abilities might be able to dodge or outmaneuver these techniques, especially if they anticipate the direction or area of effect.

• Seastone or Water: As with all Devil Fruit abilities, contact with Seastone or being submerged in water could weaken the user's powers, reducing the potency of Blue, Red, or Hollow Purple.

• Overconfidence and Timing: The techniques require precise timing and focus. If the user becomes overconfident or misjudges their opponent's capabilities, they could leave themselves open to counterattacks while preparing or using these abilities.

If we imagine Gojo's Domain Expansion: Infinite Space being adapted to the One Piece world, it would need some potential weaknesses to balance its overwhelming power.

1. High Energy and Stamina Drain

• Energy Consumption: Using the Domain Expansion would consume a vast amount of energy, meaning the user can't maintain it for long periods. Prolonged use could quickly tire the user, leaving them vulnerable to counterattacks once the domain is dispelled.

• Exhaustion Post-Use: After using such a powerful ability, the user might experience fatigue, making it difficult to continue fighting at full strength immediately afterward.

2. Haki

• Strong Willpower (Conqueror's Haki): Characters with exceptionally strong wills or those capable of using Conqueror's Haki (Haoshoku Haki) might be able to resist or mitigate the effects of the domain. Their Haki could shield them from the overwhelming mental overload that Infinite Space inflicts.

• Armament Haki (Busoshoku Haki): Advanced users of Armament Haki might be able to protect themselves by coating their body in Haki, reducing the domain's influence over them.

3. Observation Haki (Kenbunshoku Haki)

• Preemptive Dodge: Skilled Observation Haki users may be able to sense the activation of the Domain Expansion before it fully traps them, allowing them to avoid getting caught within its range by dodging or distancing themselves.

4. Range Limitation

• Finite Range: While the domain may seem like it has infinite reach, it might have a physical or perceptual limit in the One Piece world. Characters who can fight from a long distance, or teleport away, could potentially avoid the domain's effects by staying outside its active range.

5. Seastone

• Seastone Weapons: Seastone, which nullifies Devil Fruit powers, could be a direct counter to the Domain Expansion. If an opponent wields Seastone weapons or makes physical contact with the user using Seastone, it could potentially disrupt the domain or prevent it from being activated altogether.

• Seastone Shackles: If the user is somehow restrained with Seastone cuffs or chains, they would lose the ability to activate the Domain Expansion entirely.

6. Water Weakness

• Seawater: Like all Devil Fruit users, exposure to seawater could weaken or completely nullify the user's powers, including their ability to maintain the domain. If the user is forced into a watery environment, their Domain Expansion would likely collapse.

• Surprise Water Attacks: An opponent could use water-based attacks or traps to weaken the user and force them out of their domain state.
