"Xiao Yun!" Zi Yan's face lit up with joy at Jiang Yun's presence but then turned somewhat unhappy, pouting, "I can defeat her myself."
"I know!" Jiang Yun nodded indulgently at Zi Yan's slightly softened expression and continued, "But I don't want you to get hurt!"
"Boom boom boom!!!"
Hearing this, Zi Yan's face froze momentarily. A red blush rose to her cheeks, and her heart began to beat violently. She snuggled into Jiang Yun's arms like a kitten with a soft hum.
Medusa stared at the young man in front of her with unprecedented seriousness. Zi Yan's strength had already surprised her, but her attention was now on this boy. Today's matter seemed unlikely to be resolved easily.

After a long silence, the two figures clashed again, causing the not-so-large oasis below to be repeatedly ravaged by their fight.
Outside the battlefield, Zi Yan rubbed her hands in anticipation, itching to turn the fight into a three-way battle.

"If the Queen alone finds it hard to discern, I can invite the entire serpent people to appreciate it!"
"You knew!" For the first time, Medusa felt astonished. Sensing her difficulty, she'd secretly called for reinforcement. Being in the desert, this was her territory—home-ground advantage.
Now, the serpent people's powerhouses must be nearby!
"Your Majesty!"
In the distance, shouts echoed as several figures appeared on the horizon, led by a burly male serpent.
Behind him followed two voluptuous female serpents and three elderly serpent men.
Jiang Yun detected their energy even before they approached—six Dou Wangs, testament to the serpent people's strength in maneuvering between three great empires.

Even Queen Medusa showed a hint of helplessness deep in her eyes—unnoticed by Jiang Yun.
