"What did you say to my father?" Hazel asked Ranon through the phone. She was typing mindlessly on her laptop, while laying down on her sofa.
"Did he treat you well?" Ranon asked from the other end of the phone. He was on his way home with his driver. He came home late like usual. It was close to midnight.
He had no one, who was waiting for him and his empty, quiet apartment would be the only thing that greeted him when he arrived.
"He ignored me most of the time and glared at me when I was within his line of sight, as if I just stepped on his toes." Hazel shrugged her shoulders. "But, no slap, no yelling and no hitting, so I think I can say overall things are good. Whatever you said, it worked."
Ranon didn't say anything, but he was smiling when he heard that. He actually didn't say much, a little bit of a threat was enough, since Greyson must have learned about what his first son had done.
