Capítulo 87: Across the Chasm

The trap for the beasts had been sprung but that wasn't the end, it would take far more than that to take care of a horde of magic beasts. 

William and Renna commanded the troops to send a volley of arrows coated with pure arcing through the sky, striking the beasts clustered at the pit's edge. Some fell, while others scrambled over their fallen kin, clawing to escape the killing zone.

Kaleb and Jareth watched on while this went down admiring the unfolding plan. 

Suddenly a figure jumped out of the mass and over the chasm, Kaleb's eyes darted toward it but he quickly calmed down after realizing it was just Victor a reckless grin and a glint in Victor's eyes spoke of exhilaration. 

"What the... Victor! What the hell were you doing in there?"

Kaleb was already aware of the fact that Victor was a battle freak, but this was something he didn't ever expect. The man was soaked in the blood of fallen beasts.
