She woke up the next morning in Amara's arms, her body pleasantly sore from the night before. Amara was sleeping deeply, so Elara carefully untangled herself from the sheets and got dressed in the robe Amara had given her.
Once she had herself settled, Elara padded over to the balcony, sliding open the door to let in some fresh air. It was already hot outside, and she squinted at the bright sunlight. She had just found a spot to stand when there was a knock at the door. She crossed over, pulling it open for the bellboy.
"Morning, ma'am."
Elara nodded in greeting. "Morning. Can I help you?"
The bellboy held up a bag. "You have an order for breakfast. Shall I put it on the table?"
Elara took the bag and nodded. "Thanks. I'll set it out."
