Capítulo 1: Chapter 1-Kidnapped
Anna stretched her body as she woke up, due to the pain she felt in her whole body from the previous day. Getting off the bed, she let out a little wince caused from headache. She managed to get out of bed and made way to her bathroom to wash up and get dressed for the day.
After sliding into an extra large hoodie and shorts, which was the only clothes available in the large closet, she made her way to the kitchen to get a cup of tea to start the day.
On her way to the kitchen, she saw the last person she wanted to see right now- her dad- sitting comfortably on the kitchen chair, reading newspaper and sipping coffee besides.
With massive feeling of anger welling up from her belly, she tried to manage to head back to her room, in order to cool down her anger which can sometimes go out of hand in issues like this.
As if her dad smelt her anger from a distance he spoke up, cutting her steps short
"Young lady Bell, that's no way to greet your old man good morning" Romeo, her dad, said slowly looking up from his newspaper and towards her
She slowly turned around, cursing every reason why he had to notice her
"Morning Old man" She said sarcastically, before making her way to serve herself some tea
"What do you want for breakfast?" He asked, putting off his reading glasses and securing them in it's case
" Don't act like you care... " She rolled her eyes sluggishly making him to shrug "And, yeah, we need to talk about what happened yesterday... what the heck got into you?" she asked, rather loudly
"Heyy, calm down... About that drama, we'ld talk about it at breakfast" He replied politically
" Then I don't care to know about it, just know I'll never forgive you for it, and I mean forever" she concluded, while making her way back to her room with the cup of tea
" If you do not care to know, that means you have no right to be angry at me, ever again about this issue"
Ann stopped in her steps for few seconds before turning around to face him, with a strong face.
" F*ck dad!!" she banged her hand on the kitchen table, after dropping the cup. "Are you negotiating with me?.... You basically kidnapped me from my happy place, a place I found peace. Man, I was actually happy after 10 years and and you just had to poison that happiness by taking me away from there in an unjust way... And now you're negotiating??... I'm Soo disappointed in you, man" she said passionately
" Ouch, the last part hurt me a bit" He replied unconcernedly
This hurt Anna so much that she concluded in her mind that he was a ruthless b*stard
"You're not even being a dad, you've never have" she chuckled lightly" Ever since mum died, you became something else... I know you miss mum but another thing I know and I'm sure about is your hatred for me" Saying this made her emotional that a drip of tears danced down her cheek. Noticing this, her dad came to his senses
"Annabell, if I hate you, then why would I have picked you up from the lions den you called an happy place. Those people you think loved you are wolves in a sheep clothing, and I couldn't stand to watch my little damsel getting torn apart" Her dad said, serious as ever
" Enough! Enough!! Enough with your lies. You know what, there's no point in this conversation. Just forget it" With this, she covered her head with the hood of the hoodie she was wearing and let her tears flow, while walking in shakiness of her thoughts to her room.
