Capítulo 35: What A Suprise

Ava's POV:

I found my way downstairs after gathering my thoughts. I didn't do anything wrong, so why will Yan's ex-wife want to hurt me?

I arrived at the lounge and spotted two familiar faces; it was Linda and Yan's stepmother.

Wait, she was the one who was mentioned as Mrs. Earlton.

"Oh God," I heaved heavily. Why did I even choose to listen to Kim? Now she had installed stupid thoughts in my mind.

But why were they here, and why were they even together?

"Ava," Mrs. Earlton called, and I smiled slightly at her.

"Hello ma'am" After all, she was older than me and also Yan's stepmom, so I had to respect her, and obviously I ignored Linda.

"Have coffee with us," she added, and I tried to reject it in the most genuine way. Will I even be able to swallow the coffee if I have it with them?

"It will be a pleasure having coffee with you, but I have a lot of work."

Linda snorted, "Stop the silly act."
