Diara's entire body trembled as her foot inched closer toward Kariyah, each step feeling heavier than the last.

 Her mind screamed at her to stop, to resist, but her body moved as though detached from her will, a puppet bound by the cruel strings of humiliation. 

Every ounce of dignity she had left felt like it was slipping through her fingers, and the rage that simmered beneath her chest grew hotter with every second.

She bent down, her knees hitting the cold tile floor, the sound ringing in her ears like a death knell. 

A sharp, bitter taste filled her mouth as she lowered herself further, the sharp scent of Kariyah's perfumed lotions and skincare products filling her nostrils.

 Her heart raced as she clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms hard enough to draw blood, but she refused to let out even a single whimper.
