Dai Mubai and Tang San hurriedly left the training grounds and rushed back to the academy.
As the Shrek group returned to the academy and approached the main gate, they ran into Zhu Zhuqing and Chen Xuan.
As for Chen Yiyi, he had already dropped his sister off at their residence upon returning to Heaven Dou City.
Seeing Dai Mubai's dark, stormy expression, Chen Xuan was taken aback, puzzled by the intensity of his anger. Why is he so furious? Chen Xuan observed carefully and noticed that soul power was leaking from Dai Mubai's body, clearly showing his extreme anger.
Dai Mubai strode forward with an intense demeanor, his tiger-like eyes glowing with a cold, golden light as he stared directly at them.
"Is he coming at me?" Chen Xuan thought to himself. When Dai Mubai's gaze fell on him, he could feel the murderous intent, as though Dai Mubai wanted to tear him apart.
Zhu Zhuqing, however, remained calm. Her tall, slender figure moved gracefully as she continued walking toward the academy, ignoring Dai Mubai completely.
Dai Mubai's face was so dark it looked like it could drip water, his eyes sharp and filled with malice, as if ready to devour someone.
Yet Zhu Zhuqing, ever cold and indifferent, showed no sign of acknowledgment and walked past him without a word.
Chen Xuan's mouth twitched slightly, and he stayed where he was. He didn't dare follow after Zhu Zhuqing. The way Dai Mubai was looking at him was terrifying, and truth be told, Chen Xuan felt a little guilty.
"Zhu Zhuqing, is this your attitude?" Dai Mubai's voice was hoarse, and his tiger eyes flashed with a cold gleam. He was trying hard to control himself, barely holding back from lashing out.
The rest of the Shrek group remained silent, watching the unfolding drama.
Zhu Zhuqing's brows furrowed slightly, clearly displeased, but she still stopped in her tracks. From her perspective, after days of life-or-death struggles that nearly cost her life, she was exhausted. Now, returning only to face interrogation, with such a tense scene, it was the last thing she wanted.
"Zhuqing, what do you mean by this? Shouldn't you give me an explanation?" Dai Mubai's expression was still dark, his tiger eyes glinting ominously.
He was filled with rage. After everything that had happened, how could she still act like nothing was wrong?
"What explanation do you want?" Zhu Zhuqing's face remained emotionless as she turned to look at him, her beautiful eyes cold and distant.
Dai Mubai laughed—a laugh filled with bitterness and madness. He couldn't believe that after betraying him, she could still stand there, acting righteous. It made him even angrier.
He scoffed, his laughter filled with sarcasm, and said, "You know very well what you've done. Do I need to spell it out? The only one who'll be humiliated in the end is you."
Dai Mubai was completely enraged. Anyone else who had done something so dishonorable would at least show some guilt. But Zhu Zhuqing was acting as though nothing had happened.
At first, he had wanted to save her some face, knowing that if this issue blew up, it would be disgraceful for both of them. But now, it was clear that she didn't care at all, so why should he?
"I don't know what you're talking about," Zhu Zhuqing said calmly, her demeanor still icy and unaffected by his accusations. She had nothing to hide. After all, during her recent mission, nothing inappropriate had happened. No matter what Dai Mubai implied, she had a clear conscience.
Her words made the atmosphere even more tense, as if an explosion could happen at any moment.
"Zhu Zhuqing, I can't believe you're this kind of person. I, Dai Mubai, truly misjudged you." Dai Mubai suddenly burst into laughter, his laughter wild and unrestrained, filled with mockery aimed at himself.
The Shrek group watched as Dai Mubai's behavior became more and more erratic. Fatty Ma Hongjun and Oscar instinctively took a few steps back, startled by his crazed demeanor.
Zhu Zhuqing's brow furrowed further. Her patience was wearing thin.
"You're full of yourself," she said coldly, her gaze carrying a hint of sarcasm.
But to Dai Mubai, her words only seemed like she was playing dumb, trying to avoid the reality of the situation. The truth was plain to see.
A young man and woman traveling together, alone for days, would surely lead to something happening between them—it was practically like a honeymoon. Dai Mubai had seen too much in his years to believe otherwise. The idea that Chen Xuan and Zhu Zhuqing had shared such a journey without anything happening was laughable to him.
He hadn't wanted to make this a big issue. After all, it was a private matter. But now, his fiancée was pretending nothing had happened, showing no remorse. To him, this was nothing short of a provocation—a blatant insult.
At that moment, Dai Mubai decided to hold nothing back. If Zhu Zhuqing had no loyalty to him, why should he show any restraint?
Suddenly, his face darkened even more, and he turned his gaze toward Chen Xuan, speaking in a cold voice, "Chen Xuan, you were with Zhu Zhuqing the past few days, weren't you?"
Chen Xuan felt a headache coming on. He had known this confrontation was inevitable, but just as he was about to explain, Zhu Zhuqing spoke first.
"So what if I was? What does that have to do with you?" Zhu Zhuqing's tone was cold, and she walked over to stand beside Chen Xuan, her long legs moving gracefully.
Her words made Dai Mubai's face even darker, and his fists clenched tighter.
What enraged him more was Zhu Zhuqing's behavior—she was clearly protecting Chen Xuan. The sight of it made his blood boil with rage. As a prince of the Star Luo Empire, he had never been humiliated like this.
"Good! Very good! Zhu Zhuqing, you have no shame!" Dai Mubai roared, his pent-up fury finally exploding.
At that moment, he no longer held back. Four spirit rings instantly appeared, and golden soul power surged into the sky, forming a white tiger projection above him.
His power was overwhelming, his soul force fierce. His eyes shone with killing intent, directed at Chen Xuan, who stood behind Zhu Zhuqing.
"Chen Xuan! I thought we were brothers, but you go and steal my woman! Some brother you are!"
Chen Xuan felt completely helpless. He quickly tried to explain, "Calm down! You're misunderstanding everything! There's nothing going on between me and Zhuqing!"
He was utterly frustrated. After barely surviving an attack by a Soul Emperor, he had returned to Shrek Academy only to face this. It felt like the universe was playing a cruel joke on him.
But no matter how much he tried to explain, the enraged Dai Mubai wouldn't listen. Blinded by fury, Dai Mubai was already out of control.
The other Shrek members exchanged glances and took a few steps back, none of them intending to step in.
Even the young girl Jiangzhu thought that Chen Xuan had crossed a line. Everyone in the academy knew that Zhu Zhuqing and Dai Mubai were a couple, even if they didn't have much of a relationship. Chen Xuan's actions, at best, made him a third wheel. At worst, he was a homewrecker—the kind of person everyone despised.
Dai Mubai had completely lost it, his killing intent seeping into the air. His second and third spirit rings glowed, preparing to unleash his attack, all of it amplified into his White Tiger Light Wave.
Zhu Zhuqing frowned, her face growing even colder. She took a few steps forward, placing herself between Chen Xuan and Dai Mubai, unwilling to let the man she had grown fond of get caught in the crossfire.
"Dai Mubai, haven't you caused enough trouble?" she said icily, her voice as cold as the harshest winter wind.

"Have I had enough of this?" Dai Mubai laughed wildly, as if he'd just heard the funniest joke.
At this moment, he felt as though the humiliation couldn't get worse—betrayed by his fiancée and thoroughly disillusioned.
"If you care so much about him, then go die!" Dai Mubai charged forward, his White Tiger martial spirit activated. His soul power surged, and the golden light in his mouth grew even fiercer.
*Zap!*
Golden energy burst forth, dazzling like a beam of light, aimed directly at the two people flying ahead.
This White Tiger's Fierce Light Wave had ascended several levels in power, now deadly enough to instantly kill an ordinary Soul Elder.
The golden beam shot towards them, and Zhu Zhuqing stood frozen, not dodging at all.
Her face changed slightly. She hadn't expected Dai Mubai to actually attack her, launching such a lethal strike, catching her completely off guard.
"Not going to intervene?" Chen Xuan frowned. His spiritual power was strong, and he'd already sensed Flender hiding in the shadows, apparently with no intention of stepping in.
Without further hesitation, Chen Xuan acted. Zhu Zhuqing was right next to him.
He extended his arm, pulling her slender waist close, and with a burst of electrical arcs under his feet, they disappeared from the spot, dodging the attack.
The White Tiger's Fierce Light Wave missed, blasting straight into the academy's gate. The explosion was deafening as the stone-built door shattered into rubble.
The plaque that read "Shrek Academy"—carved personally by Liu Erlong—crashed to the ground, breaking in two with a crisp, sharp sound.
"Oh no, if Dean Erlong sees this, she'll go ballistic!" Ma Hongjun exclaimed.
Everyone in Shrek shuddered at the thought of Liu Erlong's explosive temper.
"Dai Boss is doomed this time! Erlong Dean's 'sparring' sessions will probably be daily now," Oscar said, nervously imagining what "sparring" with Liu Erlong meant—basically being pummeled.
The sound of the plaque breaking snapped Dai Mubai back to his senses a little. His charging motion slowed.
For a brief moment, the air fell silent, no one making a sound.
It was only now that Zhu Zhuqing recovered from her shock. A wave of disappointment washed over her, leaving a bitter taste in her heart.
She didn't even notice the intimate position she was in, still held in Chen Xuan's arms.
At this moment, Zhu Zhuqing's eyes were full of disillusionment. She felt utterly cold inside. Her fiancé, whom she'd been engaged to since childhood, had never been deeply in love with her. But still, they had grown up together. Yet now, he had turned on her, attacking her over a baseless suspicion.
What did he take her for? A woman of the night? A faithless betrayer?
Her gaze dimmed, disappointment flooding her. Even if she had done something with Chen Xuan, wasn't it Dai Mubai who had cheated first? And she had chosen to forgive him.
Now, after this incident, she was completely disillusioned with Dai Mubai. Without confirming anything, he had unleashed such deadly force against her, without thinking if she could possibly be the type of woman he imagined.
Zhu Zhuqing felt a growing sense of injustice. Dai Mubai was allowed to indulge in whatever he wanted, to disregard their engagement, but if she dared get close to a male friend, it led to suspicion.
She increasingly felt that their engagement was a shackle, binding her unfairly. Along with the disappointment, she now felt a growing distaste for Dai Mubai.
"Are you okay?"
Chen Xuan's voice rang softly in her ear, breaking her thoughts.
Snapping back to reality, Zhu Zhuqing realized she was still pressed against Chen Xuan, in an intimate embrace. However, Chen Xuan had not taken advantage of the situation—his hands rested politely on her shoulders.
Even so, the sight of them together was enough to infuriate Dai Mubai, his eyes burning with rage.
"Well, well, well. You two really are having an affair," he sneered, laughing mockingly, though his face was dark and menacing.
Zhu Zhuqing felt utterly drained. She didn't even want to explain. "Think whatever you want," she said flatly.
She had finally seen Dai Mubai for what he was. She had once naively thought he might change his ways for her, but now it was clear—a leopard can't change its spots.
Dai Mubai laughed bitterly, "Zhuqing, I thought you'd at least try to deny it, maybe offer some explanation. But I guess I was just deluding myself."
He gave a pained smile, all hope gone. Any final thread of attachment had now been severed. The betrayal he felt wasn't an illusion anymore—it was real.
Chen Xuan opened his mouth to say something, but closed it again. At this point, no explanation would be believed by Dai Mubai, who was lost in his rage.
"Fourth Soul Skill—White Tiger Meteor Shower!" Dai Mubai roared, unleashing his most powerful soul skill, fueled by his fury.
With the boosts from his third and first soul skills, the power of the White Tiger Meteor Shower reached a new peak, even more terrifying than before.
He had no intention of holding back. His fist glowed with soul power, transforming into countless golden fists that rained down like a meteor shower, covering a wide area.
Chen Xuan's expression changed slightly. Even with his level 46 soul power, it would be reckless to try to block such an attack directly.
"When are you planning to step in?" he muttered, glancing towards the distant figure of Flender, who still hadn't intervened.
As the golden barrage rained down, Zhu Zhuqing stood calmly, unmoved, neither defending nor dodging.
Chen Xuan thought she was insane—what was going through her head?
*Boom!*
The golden meteors crashed down, the fierce energy engulfing the area within dozens of meters. Golden light flooded the land, and shockwaves rippled through the air.
The Shrek students watched, hearts pounding, but none of them stepped in to stop it. They felt it wasn't their place.
Tang San's eyes flickered with purple light, and he withdrew his gaze.
As Dai Mubai prepared for another strike, finally, Flender stepped in.
"That's enough, Mubai. The academy doesn't allow students to fight like this," Flender said, strolling over slowly, hands behind his back.
With the headmaster speaking, Dai Mubai had no choice but to stifle his rage and stop.
As the golden light faded, the battlefield became visible again, revealing the shattered marble ground, pockmarked with craters.
But there was no sign of Chen Xuan or Zhu Zhuqing.
The Shrek students were puzzled. Given their speed, they could've easily dodged the White Tiger Meteor Shower, but no one had seen them escape.
Only Tang San and Flender knew the truth: Chen Xuan had used some kind of spatial ability to evade.
Soon after, Chen Xuan reappeared at the gate, unharmed, holding a silver dagger, with Zhu Zhuqing by his side.
"Zhuqing, Chen Xuan, good to see you're okay," Flender said with a false smile, playing the mediator. "Remember, you are all students of Shrek Academy. You should sit down and talk things out, not fight. If this happens again, there will be severe consequences."
"Yes, Headmaster. I was too impulsive this time. It won't happen again," Dai Mubai muttered. Whether he truly meant it or not, only he knew.
Zhu Zhuqing, however, looked distant, her emotions clearly unsettled.
"Yes, Headmaster, we understand," Chen Xuan replied flatly.
He was only playing along. In his mind, Flender was nothing but a hypocrite, clearly favoring Dai Mubai.
Chen Xuan's keen senses had detected Flender's presence from the beginning. When Dai Mubai first attacked them, Flender could have intervened but chose not to, turning a blind eye.
"Shrek Academy really isn't a place to stay for long—so biased and hypocritical," Chen Xuan thought.
