— After the incident, Amaranta found some time to remove things from under grandmother's bed.
— Amaranta borrowed a hoe from the neighbours and entered the yard. When she saw grandma's bed, she felt dismayed once again. Grandma's bed was a bed 2 meters long by 1.80 meters wide. The craftsmanship had been exquisite. If it weren't for the fire that consumed it, it could have been displayed in a museum. Amaranta was alone. How could she move the heavy bed?
— Amaranta suddenly heard someone making noise at the entrance to the patio, she was digging through the rubble left by the fire. She came out of her grandmother's room, to see who the person was that was entering the house or what was left of it. —"Who is it?"- I ask.
—"It's me!"-, answered a familiar voice. A voice that was almost as necessary for her to hear, as the sound of the wind, the movement of the leaves on the trees, the lulling sound of the river that was near the school or the voice of her grandmother.
— The tall figure of Izan Marsans was already inside the courtyard. — He was wearing a casual white shirt and a pair of dark-coloured runners, as well as a pair of white, leather shoes. He looked very handsome as he stood under the pear tree in the yard.
— There was a warm glow on his handsome face. Amaranta was relieved to see Izan. —"What are you doing here? I thought it was someone else, I was expecting you today." Amaranta mentioned to him with a very excited voice. She threw down the hoe and ran towards Izan with great enthusiasm.
—"Don't run. Be careful!" Izan pointed out as he saw how Amaranta hurried to where she was standing, observing the disaster that the fire had caused to Grandma Mary's house.
Amaranta stood in front of Izan. She lifted his beautiful little face and looked at him with eyes as bright as stars. Then, she gently but firmly tugged on Izan's wrist. —"Izan Marsans, you came at the right time. Shall we go digging for treasure together?" Amaranta said, pulling him to the grandmother's room.
"What treasure?" Izan asked. Amaranta pointed to Grandma Mary's heavy bed.
— Amaranta, wasted no time and explained to Izan: -"The treasure is under the bed. I was trying to move it, but it's too heavy!"
—"Step aside. I will."- Izan Marsans brought the sleeves of his white shirt up to his forearms. He took Amaranta's hoe. "Stay there."- Amaranta obeyed Izan Marsans and stood further away, raised the hoe and smashed it against the burned bed frame. The fire last night had damaged the bed.
— Although the bed suffered some burns, the fire did not manage to consume it completely. Its structure was still complete. Which is why Izan found it necessary to break the bed. When he broke the bed frame with the hoe, black soot was everywhere. For that reason, Izan quickly covered his mouth and nose with his free hand.
— Hastily, Amaranta approached where Izan was and offered him a handkerchief and in turn asked him — "Izan, are you okay?"
— Izan Marsans responded that he was fine and continued with the destruction of the bed. He was very fast, and he managed to break the bed in less than three minutes. So he didn't let Amaranta help him, despite his pleas.
—"I will do it. Stay there. Here, put this on," Izan Marsans handed Amaranta the handkerchief he himself was carrying. Amaranta took it and used it to cover her nose.
While Izan removed the pieces of the bed one by one, revealing the blue stone tiles under the bed. —"Izan, I'll move the tiles, take a break." Amaranta insisted on help, but Izan flatly refused to let her get dirty with soot at that moment, so he told her in a low voice and with a tender ring her doorbell- "No need, I'll take care of everything, be a good girl, stay there and don't move"-
—"Because you won't let me help you, so we can finish faster, we will know what is down there"- With a beautiful pout, Amaranta told Izan.
— Izan's eyes were full of affection for Amaranta. However, he was firm in rejecting Amaranta, "It is my duty to serve the people." This is how he removed the dried blue stone tiles, piece by piece.
— Amaranta, she couldn't stay still, so when she saw that she moved them, she transferred them to the corner. By this day, she had already spoken to her grandmother about what was under the bed, who told her that there was a treasure stored there, but she did not tell her where in it. . Slowly he dug a hole, Izan, where he thought was the place where he found what Amaranta was looking for.
It was a very hot and humid day.
Beads of sweat dripped from Izan Marsans's forehead.
Noise!
The hoe seemed to have hit something hard. Izan and Amaranta looked at each other.
— They said in unison: "We found it!" They both laughed. "They were excited."
—"Let me take a look"
A leaned down and looked at the object in the hole Izan had dug.
—"You still can't see it yet. I'm going to dig a little more. Stay where you are." Izan Marsans dug vigorously and swung the hoe harder. He made a big hole in just a few minutes.
— There was a porcelain vat in the big hole. It was sealed with many layers of craft and was sealed very tightly without a single crack. "Izan, what do you think is inside?" — Amaranta asked. She was eager to know what's inside.
— When Amaranta saw the large vat, her suspicions about the death of her grandmother in her previous life had only been reinforced… That it had not been an accident. That was because if something happened to her grandmother, her grandmother would have told her about the existence of the vat.
In her previous life, Amaranta had not known about the existence of the vat at all, even after her grandmother's death. Her grandmother had passed away without having the opportunity to tell her.
—"Amaranta, what are you thinking about?" — Amaranta came to her senses. Finding out how her grandmother had died previously was no longer important. What was relevant was that Grandma Mary was alive at this time. Amaranta would do everything possible to let her grandmother live a little longer. "Yes, she will live a little longer" she promised herself…
