Capítulo 66: I am the Hulk
The next morning~
Banner put on Stanley's Pizza delivery uniform, grabbed two pizza boxes, and rode his bike to Culver University.
As a prestigious school, Culver University had a biological research institute with various advanced equipment.
He wanted to check if Elizabeth's gamma radiation research over the past few years had found a cure for him.
Even though Elizabeth had a new boyfriend, Banner, confident as ever, believed she hadn't forgotten about him and was still researching gamma radiation.
Since it was still early, there weren't many people in the experimental building, and the guards were somewhat relaxed.
With pizza as an excuse, the guard let him in to make the delivery.
Once in the lab, Banner immediately accessed a computer and entered Elizabeth's account information.
Login successful.
As expected, Elizabeth hadn't forgotten him—she hadn't even changed her password.
But when he eagerly searched for gamma radiation data, he found nothing.
Impossible.
Why would she stop researching gamma radiation?
Thinking for a moment, he searched for his own name, Robert Bruce Banner.
Still, nothing.
Disappointed, he slumped into a chair.
After pondering for a while, he activated an encrypted communication line and contacted Dr. Blue.
"Mr. Green, did you find the data?"
"....The data is missing."
"Without the data, I can't help."
Reading this, Banner felt exhausted. No data meant no further experiments.
"What now?"
"I have to keep running."
After shutting down the computer, Banner left.

Time quickly passed, and night fell~
Elizabeth and her boyfriend arrived at Stanley's Pizza. Stanley, hearing the door open, didn't look up and said, "Sorry, we're closed."
"Oh, Stanley, it's Friday."
Recognizing the voice, Stanley looked up and saw Elizabeth.
A wave of panic washed over him. Banner was still upstairs. If he came down, he might be spotted.
But he couldn't refuse her, so he reluctantly said, "Alright, but we only have Italian red sauce pizza left."
"I really want some pizza, please."
Elizabeth's boyfriend, noticing her insistence, explained, "She's been so focused on work, she forgot to eat dinner again."
Hearing this, Stanley sighed and nodded, unable to refuse any further.
As the boyfriend tried to cheer Elizabeth up with jokes, Banner had finished packing and came downstairs to say goodbye to Stanley.
"Stanley."
Elizabeth saw him at that moment.
She froze, but Banner quickly realized the situation and fled through the back door.
Elizabeth, startled, immediately dropped her still-talking boyfriend and chased after Banner.
Stanley shook his head from behind the counter. It seemed this sale was lost.
Elizabeth ran outside, but Banner was nowhere to be found.
"Bruce…"
"Elizabeth? What's wrong?"
Her boyfriend had caught up, looking confused.
Banner, hiding behind a dumpster, closed his eyes in pain. He hadn't resolved the gamma radiation problem and couldn't reveal himself to her.
Back at the pizza place, Elizabeth returned to the counter, determined.
"Stanley, where is he?"
"I don't know."
"Please, tell me…"
Stanley, seeing the pleading look on Elizabeth's face, softened.
Meanwhile, her boyfriend, entirely ignored, couldn't help but feel like he was the third wheel here.
........
Thunder rumbled in the distance.
September weather was unpredictable, and Banner was drenched after only walking for a short while.
As he wandered aimlessly, a car suddenly pulled up behind him.
Elizabeth stepped out alone and ran toward him.
"Bruce..."
Seeing her, Banner couldn't hold back his emotions anymore and embraced her tightly.
"Promise me you won't leave me again."
"I won't."
After a long embrace, the two got into the car and headed home.
Ten minutes later.
Elizabeth parked at her luxurious villa. Since Banner had hidden in the back seat, her father's security detail didn't spot him.
The two slipped quietly into Elizabeth's room.
Elizabeth then pulled out a hidden USB drive, "I copied this just before my father could get to it. I hope one day it can help us find a solution."
Seeing the USB, Banner finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Does the General know you copied it?"
"He shouldn't. I haven't spoken to him in years."
"Don't let him find out."
"Bruce, why can't we talk to him?"
"He's told me before. He wants the mutated cells in my body to study and replicate. He wants to weaponize them."
Hearing this, Elizabeth understood immediately that her father should never get his hands on those cells.
She couldn't let her research become a tool for killing.
.......
After a night together, the next morning, Elizabeth and Banner stood outside the villa.
Just as they were about to say their goodbyes, Banner spotted armed soldiers in the distance. His face tensed.
"What's wrong?" Elizabeth asked, puzzled.
"....They're here."
Elizabeth followed his gaze and saw the soldiers. She panicked.
"Oh no…"
"You need to stay away from me. Go!"
With that, Banner took off running.
"Bruce…"
Elizabeth, still reluctant to part, suddenly heard the roar of engines behind her.
Turning around, she saw armored vehicles barreling down the road, crashing into cars in their path.
The heavy-handed military tactics made it clear—they were from her father, General Ross.
Meanwhile, inside one of the armored vehicles, General Ross looked frustrated, "The sniper needs three more minutes to get in position. Who acted so recklessly?"
This was America. He could use military force however he liked. Naturally, he had deployed every available resource.
Outside, Banner couldn't outrun the armored vehicles and was forced to retreat into the villa.
But seeing the soldiers and vehicles surrounding the area, he knew he couldn't escape.
So, he swallowed the USB drive.
.....
At the same time.
High above Israel~
Sam, Logan, and Victor had returned to the helicarrier.
In the director's office, Nick Fury looked at the battered trio, his expression cold as he asked, "What happened?"
Sam, seeing that Logan and Victor remained silent, stepped forward.
"Director, we were ambushed."
"By who?"
"We're not sure, but it was probably Umbrella."
"Did you find the origin of zombies?"
"..Yes."
Just as Nick asked for the location, a rapid knock on the door interrupted them. Maria Hill walked in.
"Director, General Ross has found the Hulk!"
