Capítulo 15: Chapter 15: Are you in heat?

"Kylian, when did you wake up?"

As soon as Aiden exited the room, within a few minutes the homeroom Alpha teacher Mr. Matt walked inside with a bowl of warm soup. Watching Kylian already awakened and marching back and forth in the room, he quickly came close to him before urging, "Are you feeling alright now, Kylian? I hope your bones are alright, even though the bodyache might persist for a few days from the massive fall… "

"I am fine, Sir." A little winced from his loud call, Kylian bowed before him respectfully while expressing his gratitude, "Thank you for bringing me here, Sir. For a second, I thought I might die today…and it had scared me a lot…"

Mr. Matt stared silently at him with an anxious look, as he exhaled, "That was a dangerous attempt! I believe you would have been gravely injured from the fall if Zenith hadn't shielded you! But it was a fatal act for both of you, it had scared all of us to death!"

'Zenith shielded me?' His words startled him this time because it was the second time he had heard such words from the teacher after Aiden. His ocean eyes curved deep, while he scoffed in his own, 'No…that is too ridiculous to believe. That bastard would never try to protect me when he's a heinous bully himself!'

"Anyways, looks like Aiden has left already. He had helped me to carry you here in my room. So…I had brought this soup for you because it doesn't seem to me you had something after coming to the academy today." Mr. Matt handed him the bowl of soup and quite forcibly made him sit down on the couch to have it. Kylian was deeply moved by his kindness because it was the first time he had experienced genuine concern from an elder here.

However, when he put a spoonful of soup in his mouth, suddenly his stomach turned upside down, making him almost throw it up. Coughing hard while covering his mouth, he rather chose to drink a glass of water which the teacher handed to him hurriedly.

"What happened? Are you feeling sick, Kylian?"

"I…I don't know Sir…But…I am feeling very nauseous inside all of a sudden…" After Kylian calmed down a little, he glanced outside of the glass window next to the couch and looked at the shining full moon illuminating the night sky. When he was gawking at the moon, he could feel shivers running down his spine, as if his body temperature was rising.

"That's strange…you should have felt the urge to eat now that you are awake…" Mr. Matt sounded very anxious while putting the soup bowl away from Kylian but when he accidentally moved a little closer, Kylian felt queasy again when he sensed Mr. Matt's strong pheromones wafting around him!

'What the hell is happening to me? I have been always sensitive to Alpha pheromones, but…do I dislike Mr. Matt's pheromones to the extent that I want to throw up now? I could never say this truth…he is being so kind to me now…' Tormented by his inner thoughts when Kylian was scowling his face from the discomfort and a sharp pain churned inside his stomach.

But Mr. Matt observed him quickly as he asked, "Kylian, shall I take you to the nurse's office? You look kind of pale now!"

"I…I am fine, Sir…" Barely mustering his inner strength to cope with his discomfort, Kylian stood up from the couch and tried to leave in a rush so that he could get away from the scent of his pheromones that had filled up the room.

"Thank you for looking after me until now. I must leave for my room now, but I have to get the keys to my room from the superintendent's office first. So, could you please tell me where is his office, Sir?"

"The Superintendent officer was notified about the chaos today, and he is especially very angry with you, Kylian." Mr. Matt's voice shivered a little as if he was quite concerned for him. "I had gone to his office earlier, and he was considering taking disciplinary measures against you, but I have somehow managed to convince him to consider it as your last mistake, Kylian.

"By now, you must have realized that he was worried for Zenith…because if something had happened to him, Zenith's father holds the power to destroy the whole Academy." His voice sounded very glum while Mr. Matt lifted his guilt-stricken eyes down from Kylian, "I know today you weren't at fault. But you must take this as a lesson and be very careful not to mess with him from now on if you want to keep studying here, Kylian."

His words served as a warning to him, but Kylian didn't oppose him this time as he felt this must have been the reason why Aiden also tried to warn him before.

While reminiscing bout his mother's smiling tired face, he took a deep inhale and answered, "I will be sure to be careful from now on, Sir. I do want to study at this academy…because I want to provide a better future for my mother. She's my everything."

Mr. Matt gently stared at him for a moment as a soft smile curved his lips. With a small nod, he reciprocated, "Alright. The Superintendent's office is quite far from this building, so you have to take a long walk while counting up to the 7th large building. Upon reaching the top floor, you will find him there and take the key to your room."

"Yes sir," Kylian bowed and quietly walked out of the room while carrying his backpack.

He had memorized the address well, but the academy covered an extremely large widespread area which made him miscalculate the building. Instead of reaching the 7th building, he stepped inside the 6th building and to reach that it took him over 2 hours while walking.

With the churned uneasiness inside his body and a sharp pain on the back of his head, he felt as if his body was getting heavier with each moment passing. Whenever the bright moonlit fell over him, his body would send shivers down his spine, making him worry since it was the first time he was experiencing such a strange physical discomfort.

While covering the address he was told to, even the slightest whiff of other Alpha pheromones made him too queasy to throw up!

Just as Mr. Matt had said, he was opting to go to the top floor, but his legs started giving up on the strength as soon as he took the stairs. His body started overheating, and Kylian even started experiencing breathing difficulty! When he tried to glance at the full moon, the loud sound of the large pendulum clock at the center hall of the Academy going back and forth made him realize it was already midnight.

"It's my 19th birthday today…Mom should be calling me any time…but what is wrong with me? I have to muster my strength and get my keys from the super…but…my legs, why are they not moving?"

Groaning with discomfort, at this point, grabbing against a big pillar, Kylian started sweating crazily and felt his legs were too wobbly to let him walk properly anymore.

With the ache throbbing in his head, he grunted in confusion, "Ugh…what's happening to me? My body feels too heavy and hot to move…Am I getting a stroke? Am I going to die like this on my 19th birthday—-"

But his words trailed off when he suddenly sensed a whiff of a strong yet sweet alluring scent approaching him close. The scent felt so endearing for him that his heart started pounding too fast, making him too confused to think what was happening anymore.

"Hey? What are you doing here in my building?"

When a cold yet familiar voice addressed him from the front, Kylian winced and lifted his drowsy eyes up to find Zenith standing tall at a measurable distance from him in that giant desolate hallway.

BA-THUMP!

Just from a glance on Zenith whose face was shimmering under the moonlit, Kylian's heart thumped crazily hard, gushing blood through his veins. Feeling scared of a passionate longing aroused inside him Kylian stumbled down on the ground, as he quivered, "Y-You…You…"

"I asked what are you doing here at this h…." But before Zenith could finish his words while trying to move closer to him, suddenly his motion halted, making his face turn flustered red. He immediately covered his nose and mouth, while growling at him, "Why is this sweet scent lingering around you? A-Are you in heat? Damn it…are you a fuckin' omega?"
