Capítulo 33: The Chase

Seven hours later it was around dinner time. The pair had managed to find an Americanized Chinese take-out restaurant near the airport. They were happily eating sweet n'sour chicken and broccoli beef with fried rice. They also had egg rolls and soup. Jared had gotten them sodas from the vending machine, and they had rented a movie from the pay-per-view menu.

They had their plates piled high and had just started their movie when a text came in. 'We're in Paris. Tell me where you are so we can come to you.'

After a moment Cora just shook her head. Jared set the phone down before turning the movie back on. It was ridiculous and the pair couldn't help but chuckle at the antics of the main characters. When it ended, they scrolled through the other offerings but weren't sure they wanted to start another entire movie.

There had been several more texts demanding their location. Which Jared and Cora also ignored since there wasn't much point to trading angry texts.
