We are summoned by the servant after the sun starts to settle on the west side of this country.

I put on her last hairpin and pulled her up. She faced me. I smiled. My work of tying hair for ladies is paying off.

"What do you think? It suits you if I'm the one to be asked." My wife chuckled and gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"You are perfect as always," I respond sweetly. She pinches my cheeks and nestles her forehead in mine.

"You are just telling me that because you love me," she teases. I laugh and embrace her.

"I am not. You are indeed beautiful. Not only the surface but most especially your heart. Thank you so much for saving my father, Li Susu. I will never forget this," I whispered.

I held her tighter and showed her how I meant what I just said. She held my face and brushed my cheeks using her fingers.
