Capítulo 41: Planning For The Future!

"It's beautiful..."

Looking at the sight in front of him, Damon couldn't help but think to himself. The sun was sinking behind the lush green forests and tall mountains as the sky was dyed red. The moon hung high in the sky as the stars slowly made their appearance.

The scene of the evening sky, with the sun and moon together, was an ethereal view for Damon, especially being so high up in the mountains covered with green forests.

A feeling of peace filled Damon as he stood looking at the scenery from his villa in Regalith. The luxurious villa was built a year ago when Damon expressed his plans to leave China and chose the city of Regalith as his new home.

The entire mountain belonged to Damon, and this luxurious villa stood tall, offering the best view of nature one could get in this city.

The city was still under construction. Until a few months ago, the Crown Mercenaries were busy expanding the territory, but now it was time to consolidate and strengthen their foundation.

The city of Regalith was the base city of the Crown Group, with the headquarters and all facilities yet to be built. The city was planned to be the face of the Crown Group, so Damon ordered it to be comparable to the best cities in the world, and even greater.

The city housed mercenaries, laborers working on construction, and the best talents from around the world, handpicked by Damon, receiving training and conducting research.

"Hmm... thinking of them, I think it's finally time to move on to the final phase..." The final phase of Damon's plan. Until now, it had been about gathering talent and consolidating the fame and foundation of the Crown Group.

The operation was ongoing and in the capable hands of the greatest minds on the planet, all working under Damon, receiving the best facilities and services money could buy.

Everything was now in place, and with time, it would all take its final shape autonomously, without any need for Damon's supervision or direction. So, isn't it now the finest time to initiate the final phase of his plan for the Crown Group and its future?

"Four years or five years... The sea will begin its movement..." Yes, the biggest problem in the world aside from the Dark Plane: the sea.

In a few years, the sea would launch an assault on the land, taking the world by surprise and causing mass casualties. The war against the sea would soon begin, and what's a better way to earn money than through wars?

The metals effective against the sea would soar in demand, as would the weapons. One of the biggest problems for the world would be the cargo business—the sea attacks would disrupt the logistic system globally.

Next would be housing millions of refugees displaced from their homes as their cities are flooded with water.

Weapons to fend off the sea demons and defenses to protect the coastlines.

"We're recruiting more and more water mages... manpower won't be a problem."

Damon had already started having his subordinates recruit more water-based mages to arm himself. He had also hoarded metals and resources that were effective against sea creatures. Today, such materials were cheap and not in high demand, but that wouldn't be the case in the future, so Damon was stockpiling them to profit when disaster struck.

Weapons and defenses could be solved by the people under him researching those things. Seriously, researching new tech and creating it isn't that hard; it just requires talented brains, tons of money, and the right people.

The only roadblock in research would be the rules and traditions of the Magic Association, which leave little room for innovation and out-of-the-box thinking. But here, in these ungoverned lands under Damon, no Magic Association or organization would meddle in his affairs or his subjects of research.

One of the things Damon was more focused on was the spatial diagram of storage, the technology that allowed the creation of space rings and objects to carry stuff in a different dimension with limited space.

Damon had tasked his recruits with researching how to increase the storage space of these devices and the feasibility of producing them.

These items were in high demand and could fetch Damon a lot of money. Not to mention, in the future, Damon could implant these devices into planes, allowing them to replace ships for carrying cargo. And the military applications were immense as well.

Damon's mind raced with a multitude of ideas and their potential impacts, but his thoughts came to a stop as he stretched his body and turned away from the departing sun, entering his bedroom.

Damon couldn't help but let out a moan of relief as he dropped onto his bed, enjoying its softness.

"Honestly, someday in the future, I would also love to study and learn more about these artifacts... but for now..."

His hands reached toward the ceiling as the space twisted, and a small vial of water dropped into his palms.

"Underground Holy Spring..." One of the most powerful items in Mo Fan's journey now lay in Damon's hand.

The water of the spring was filled with rich elemental energy. Cultivating within the vicinity of the water granted weeks' worth of cultivation benefits in just an hour.

In the novel, after practicing for a week, Mo Fan was able to close the gap between him and the intermediate level. He later fed this water to the Little Loach to upgrade its level and breakthrough the intermediate rank to protect Ye Xinxia.

This game-changing item for Mo Fan now lay in Damon's hand, completely changing the original plot.

Without this Mo Fan might take some time to break through the intermediate level.. but how does that matters for Damon?

Mo Fan might be the protagonist of the world but Damon is the protagonist of his own life, he only cares for himself and if this little thing here gives him boost of energy and save some time for Damon why shouldn't be take it away?

Damon's left hand, which held the vial, suddenly glowed with dark and blue light as the Armor of Fenrir once again covered his hand.

The dark claws now carefully gripped the vial as Damon's eyes examined the crystal-clear water, radiating strong elemental power.

Crack... crack... crack...

Cracks appeared on the surface of the vial, slowly spreading like a spider's web, breaking the delicate container. The water began to slowly slip out of the vial as the dark and blue aura around Damon's hand intensified.

The armor glowed brightly, enlarging and bulging. The patterns on the armor began to change as its shape altered, becoming more menacing. The armor, which had looked slim moments ago, bulked up in size. Giant extensions protruded from the back of the elbow, and the claws grew larger and sharper.
