Capítulo 77: A blessing in disguise

It was Lady Mila who stood up and got everyone to calm down and not panic by being the usual voice of reason.

"Lord Ben, take my daughter with you and take my precocious grandchild to the nearest hospital because that fiance of hers needs to be checked in himself," instructed Lady Mila. 

There was some scrambling to do Lady Mila's bidding but before Lithe could turn to leave with Zen because Morgan texted to say he was in the parking lot waiting.

They were both stopped in their tracks by Lady Mila's commanding voice. 

Literally everyone froze midstep; she hadn't been the Matriarch of the family for nothing.

Even the chauffeur who had been called to lift Lady Christina's comatose body to put in the limousine froze with her in hand.

Everyone who had been talking and exclaiming went silent.

Especially the gossipy servants who were clearing the tables and refilling the tea cups paused mid air.
