Danzo hesitated, then guessed, "Tsunade?"

"Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"
Danzo shouted, "Tsunade isn't even in Konoha! How could she succeed the Fifth Hokage?"
"But if Jiraiya brings her back? Do you think you'll still have a chance?" Kazuki responded calmly.

"If Jiraiya brings Tsunade back, then my chances..."
Danzo's thoughts trailed off as he considered his slim odds of winning against her.
His chances of becoming Hokage seemed low.
The two councillors, Homura Mitokado and Koharu Utatane, weren't on his side. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't sway them in his favor.
"We still have to deal with Homura and Koharu," Danzo grumbled.
Kazuki nodded and thought for a while. Together, they came up with a plan.
They decided to get rid of them.
Without those two in the way, Danzo's path to becoming Hokage would be smoother.
"It's not difficult to kill them, but it will be tricky to remove suspicion from me afterward," Danzo admitted.
"Don't worry, I have a plan for that. But before we proceed, I need a favor from you," Kazuki said.
"What do you need?"

Though Danzo feared death, he was truly a ruthless individual.
Kazuki sealed Shisui's eye in a scroll, looking at the Sharingan in Danzo's hand.
He decided not to confiscate it, leaving Danzo with a small degree of self-defense.
After all, Root had suffered heavy losses, and without his Mangekyo and Summoning Beast, Danzo's ability to protect himself was concerning.
"Live well!" Kazuki said, patting Danzo on the shoulder before vanishing.
Danzo, now alone, hesitated before heading back to Root.
Tonight had been a disaster. His plan to capture Kazuki and Karin had failed, Root had suffered heavy casualties, and he had been completely overpowered.
Worst of all, he couldn't even think of a way to resist.
"What's going on?" he muttered to himself.
