"I called for a car." Qiao Zhiyi wouldn't argue with a drunk person.
The car arrived, and Ah Gui stuffed the person into the back seat, patted his shoulder, and said softly, "This is all I can do to help you."
Just as Qiao Zhiyi was about to get in the car, Ye Xi pulled her aside and lowered her voice, "Are you sure you'll be safe going back now?"
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"He's had too much to drink."
"Mhm."
"Oh dear." Ye Xi, seeing her puzzled look, became incredibly anxious, "When men are drunk, they are most likely to do something inappropriate. Do you understand?"
Qiao Zhiyi understood.
She glanced at Shi Jingzhou who was already unconscious and reassured Ye Xi, "A truly drunken man can't do anything."
"What if he's faking it?"
"He wouldn't." On this point, Qiao Zhiyi was certain, "He wouldn't pretend to be drunk to do anything to me."
"You really trust him?"
"Mhm."
"Alright then, call me when you get home."
"Okay."
Qiao Zhiyi got in the car and waved goodbye to them.
