Hereon's body emitted flames as he combated the spider, but even after he coated his entire body with mana and even strained himself further with the breathing technique, the spider was still unscathed.

The air around him pulsed with heat as he swung his sword, the flames flickered as the boy struggled to use both the breathing technique and mana on his body at the same time.

He raised his sword as one of the spider's legs came slicing through the air with terrifying speed.

The leg of the monster made contact with his sword causing it to shatter, the leg continued forward after breaking the sword and going through his abdomen.

Pain exploded throughout his wound.

The force of the blow couldn't send him flying backwards as he was impaled by the sharp limb of the sub-boss, he felt the life being forcefully sucked out of him.

The spider moved its leg backwards, leaving a gaping hole through his abdomen.
