Capítulo 41: Chapter 41 A Touch of Emotion

Allen snorted coldly and turned his face away, while Blanchie's expression was also displeased.

Jason sighed like a little adult, "Mom and Dad, why are you acting like little kids throwing a tantrum?"

"Adult matters are not for children to meddle in," they both said in unison.

Jason clicked his tongue. "Alright, I won't meddle. Dad, you take care of Mom; I'm going to rest."

Jason left the two alone, but Blanchie didn't want to spend even a minute with Allen. She called for Victoria to come and take her upstairs.

However, Allen stopped her, his voice heavy. "Blanchie, I saved you. Aren't you going to thank me?"

Blanchie nearly let a stream of curses slip out. She had heard them refer to him as "Mr. Allen," and this was all part of Allen's scheme. What did he mean by saving her? He clearly had ulterior motives! She hadn't realized how despicable Allen could be!
