Capítulo 2: CH2: Vermeil (GR)
3rd Pov
After the conversation with god, Kevin felt as if he was falling through an endless void.
He couldn't sense, hear, see, feel or taste anything. It all was nothingness.
For an lazy person like him, It couldn't have been better than this. A place devoid of any sense, truly the best place for him to sleep peacefully.
Or that is what he thought till his senses were given back to him and he could understand what was going on.
He wasn't in the void all that time as he thought he was, rather it was his mothers womb. How ddi he know that? it's because he just came out of it now.
The doctors were going around the room saying things he couldn't understand, which were probably the cliché congratulation messages.
Other than that he could feel a new type of energy coursing through his body making him feel refreshed which went against his love for sleep.
'Two minutes hasn't passed and I have already found my nemesis in this world.' Kevin thought to himself.
Looking around the room or rather getting passed around the room from person to person with each one of them observing him intently, his eyes finally landed on the figure that was his start zone to this world.
'That sounds really weird I shouldn't have spent that much time with those guys.'
As Kevin was finally passed onto his mother, she hugged and held him close, which would lead to his first traumatic experience in this world.
'I did mention that I wouldn't mind dying by a beautiful woman's hand but this isn't what I meant.'
As a newborn child, he was being hugged too hard between his mothers breasts.
Now he knew that these things were good to look at but not when you experience them in this way.
after a while most of the people in the room left and Kevin was left with his mother.
due to being a newborn baby his vision wasn't supposed to be great but thanks to being a devil he didn't have any problem seeing his mothers face.
looking at his mothers face, he was amazed as her appearance was more beautiful than many woman he had seen in his previous life.
she had long cherry blossom hair which was somewhat a unique colour given that in his previous life this colour wasn't normal.
'I should stop thinking too much about her for god sake she's my mother.'
the moment he thought about god, he felt something similar to a electricity ran through his body which made his body shiver.
'Guess devils can't say his name, peak racism in my opinion.'
Noticing how he was shivering as a sign of hunger, his mother started breastfeeding him.
While That wasn't the reason for his shivering, he didn't have any complaints about it.
After having enough of his 'food', Kevin felt a bit drowsy and slowly fell asleep
'What a great way to start my new life.'

"So that's the gist of it. He's the chosen one and if you don't become his maid, EXE gods will come to your world and surely will get it destroyed." God said as he made up an random story to convince the figure in front of him.
"How does the destruction of the world connect with me being his maid?" the figure in front of god said in a feminine voice.
"Think of it as an equivalent exchange. You become his maid and I will hide your world from them. Either you agree and do it or the world goes bye bye."
"... Fine I accept it, it's not like I have anything better to do other than wondering around in the dimensional gap."
"Great. I'll send you to his location. right now he should be sleeping, so you can use your power and make the contract with him."
The figure didn't say anything and disappeared from her place.
"Ho Ho I wonder how he will react if he knows I gave him the strongest being in this world to him as his maid."

'I'm sure I was sleeping so why is it that I'm back in the void? and worse I have all my senses active.'
Being in a void and feeling nothing was a horrible experience than being there without any of your senses.
Because you can perceive the nothingness which itself was annoying.
'What am I even yapping about?'
It was then that he was brought out of his thoughts when a gigantic and enormous being appeared Infront of him.
The Being was by far the biggest creature he had ever seen in his life.
The creature was a massive red Western Dragon with a horn on its snout and has two sets of wings.
It then moved its head forward till it was in front of him. Kevin instinctively reached out his hand towards it and as they made contact, an energy weaved its way through his body.
"The contract has been made." The Dragon said as it began to shine to take form.
As the light disrupted, he was more shocked than he was when he saw its dragon form.
The human form looked exactly as one of his favourite characters in his previous life, Vermeil the female lead of Vermeil in gold show.
'The show itself was mid in my opinion and I had considered dropping it if it wasn't for the existence of Vermeil.'
"Hmm I didn't expect to take this form, but alas it is what god has chosen for me to serve. Allow me to introduce myself Chosen one, I'm The great red dragon also known as the dragon of apocalypse."
Chosen one? what is she talking about?
[Young man can you hear me? just play along with it. she's the maid I chose for you, the strongest being in the world you reside in.]
'I see.'
"Hm." he simply nodded, what else can you expect from a newborn baby?
"Ah right I forgot that you're a baby and probably won't understand anything about what is going on." Great red said as she walked towards him.
Seeing someone with the same appearance of vermeil up close was really a feast for the eyes, specially with those realistic physic motions.
'I should stop or I will end up as a pervert.'
"From this day on we are each others soulmate due to the contract so I promise that I will protect you with my life as your maid."
"Hm." he nodded his head sagely again.
"You can call me great red, red or Vermeil. The last one is the name that higher being has recommended."
"Hm." you know the drill by now.
"Now it's time for you to wake up. I'll be there for you when you wake up."
Kevin nodded for the Nth time and as he closed his eyes and opened them again, he was met with the figure of Vermeil in a maid dress, standing by his mothers bed.
"Ma'am I am the maid that was personally appointed for young lord Roy."
'So my name in this life is Roy.'
"I see. I hope you can take good care of him in my place." She then handed Roy to Vermeil.
'Am I missing some lore or is she really giving her child away?'
"I will." Vermeil answered.
'It was good while it lasted. In my previous life I was an orphan so this is not new to me.'
As Vermeil took me into her hands and went out of room, she carresed my hair gently "Don't worry I'm here for you."
'I guess it's true that it takes a dragon to be the best girl.'
'This is no time to be fooling around, I need to do what's important and crucial in my life right now.'
And thus He decided to go back to sleep once more. Afterall Nothing beats a good long sleep after a small nap.
