Capítulo 498: Threatening Me? You're Courting Death

"Apologies, perhaps you've misunderstood me. I have no intention of targeting you," Westcott said, his cold, predatory eyes fixed on Kaguya as he smiled faintly. "I came here simply to propose a trade."

"A trade?" Kaguya's eyes narrowed. "I don't see what kind of deal we could possibly make."

"You see, I happen to know there are two spirits living with you, including the one from yesterday," Westcott said with a smile. "I wonder what would happen if the AST or other authorities found out."

"You dare threaten me?" Kaguya's eyes flashed dangerously. "You know, everyone who's ever tried to threaten me is already dead. One more won't make a difference."

"I wouldn't dare," Westcott said, waving his hand dismissively. "I wouldn't dream of threatening someone as powerful as you. I'm merely offering a suggestion. What if one day those spirits in your home—"

Before he could finish his sentence, his vision went black as a sharp pain erupted from his abdomen. A mouthful of blood and saliva spurted from his lips.

His pupils contracted sharply as he stared at the beautiful face in front of him.

What?

This silver-haired girl had struck without any warning.

Westcott's body flew backward like a cannonball, crashing heavily into the side of a building with a thunderous impact. The force of his collision sent debris flying, and the wall cracked, forming a spiderweb pattern from the point of impact where Westcott's body had slammed into the structure.

"Idiot," Kaguya sneered. "You're just a little toy, and yet you think you can play tricks in front of me? Did you get your brain caught in a door?"

Kaguya extended her arm, and with a simple motion, a magnificent longsword appeared in her hand—the Excalibur, the Sword of Promised Victory. Its blade gleamed with a chilling blue light as she slowly approached Westcott, her voice cold. "I didn't plan on ending this so quickly, but it seems some people just like to court death."

Just as Kaguya raised her sword, prepared to pierce Westcott's heart as he hung against the wall, a cold light flashed from behind her, aimed directly at her back.

Clang!

Without even turning her head, Kaguya twisted her wrist, sending her sword flashing backward. The attacker's strike was deflected in a burst of sparks, the ringing sound of clashing steel reverberating in the air.

But it wasn't over yet. Kaguya smirked, her body spinning on the spot, and with a swift motion, she raised her leg and delivered a powerful kick, accompanied by the sound of whistling wind, sending her attacker flying backward.

Boom!

The person who had ambushed Kaguya was flung back, skidding across the ground for over ten meters, carving a deep groove into the earth before coming to a stop.

"Not bad, you managed to block my attack," Kaguya said, her eyes narrowing as she recognized the person standing before her. She had seen this woman before.

The attacker had long, flowing golden hair, bright violet eyes, a straight nose, and soft, pink lips. Her fair skin and tall, elegant figure made her an exceptionally beautiful woman.

What really caught Kaguya's attention wasn't her appearance, but the fact that she was the same clumsy woman who had tripped back at the DEM building.

Kaguya's mouth twitched slightly. She finally understood who this person was. There was no doubt—this clumsy fool had to be none other than the airheaded Ellen Mira Mathers.

"The intel wasn't wrong. You're indeed a powerful spirit," Ellen said, her violet eyes gleaming with excitement as a slight smile appeared on her lips. "I've been waiting for a proper fight, so don't disappoint me today."

"On the contrary, I'm not interested in you," Kaguya replied, waving her hand dismissively. "I have errands to run, like buying some soy flour bread. I'll just kill you quickly and be on my way." But as she turned to look back at the wall, she realized that Westcott had already disappeared.

"Well, that was fast," Kaguya said, her face showing clear disdain. "Someone with no real strength dares bark in front of me. I almost have to admire your courage… or maybe it's just ignorance."

"Don't be so arrogant," Ellen said sharply, her sharp gaze tinged with anger. "You're nothing but a spirit, and you dare act so haughty? I'll teach you what true pain is."

The moment Ellen finished speaking, her Realizer Unit activated with a burst of power. She shot forward like an arrow released from a bow, the air screeching as she sliced through it. In her hand, she wielded her signature weapon, a laser blade capable of cutting through even spirit armor with ease.

"Teach me, huh?" Kaguya's lips curled into a smile. "There's no one in this world capable of 'teaching' me anything, especially not you." With that, Kaguya swung her sword with a single, graceful motion, sending a cold gleam through the air.

Clang!

The laser blade and the Excalibur clashed violently, sparks flying from the intense impact.

"Is this all you've got?" Kaguya chuckled softly, her wrist twisting as she angled her sword, its blade aiming for Ellen's exposed neck.

Ellen leaned back, her body arching gracefully as she dodged the strike. She sneered, "Arrogant." At the same time, her arm whipped forward, her laser blade flashing like lightning as it struck at Kaguya again.

"So childish," Kaguya muttered, her tone full of disdain.

Boom!

With a flash of sparks, the two clashed again, but neither hesitated. In a blur of motion, they collided once more like shooting stars, each strike faster than the last.

Ellen's Realizer Unit hummed at full power as her speed broke through the sound barrier, leaving afterimages in her wake. Her laser blade slashed through the air, weaving a deadly web of light that sparkled with sharp edges as she attacked Kaguya with fierce precision.

In the original story, Ellen was known as the world's strongest wizard. After equipping the Realizer Unit, not even most spirits could rival her. She was brimming with magic power, and her combat techniques were impeccable—far beyond the amateurish skills of someone like Tohka Yatogami.

However, her opponent was Kaguya—a being who had slaughtered hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people.

As they clashed, Kaguya's smile grew wider. Without warning, she surged forward, moving like a ghost. In the blink of an eye, she penetrated Ellen's seemingly impenetrable web of attacks as if it were nothing. Her arm shot up, her blade gleaming with a cold light, and before Ellen could react, it pierced her chest.

Ellen's eyes widened in shock as the blade embedded itself in her chest, piercing through her Realizer Unit.

Just as Kaguya was about to pierce Ellen through the heart with her sword, a sudden surge of immense power erupted from Ellen's body. It was as if a tidal wave was sweeping across the battlefield, with shockwaves mixed with air blasts bursting out in all directions. Using this power, Ellen rapidly retreated, narrowly escaping the fatal strike by a hair's breadth.

"Oh," Kaguya remarked with mild surprise, "I didn't expect you to escape."

Ellen's face was flushed red, and she was panting heavily, her chest rising and falling violently. Cold sweat trickled down her back, and a flash of panic crossed her eyes as she looked at Kaguya with lingering fear.

If she hadn't reacted quickly and forcefully activated her Realizer Unit to pull herself out of the combat range, she would have already died at the hands of this silver-haired girl. Even so, the magic overload had severely damaged both her body and the device. But compared to being dead, it was a far better outcome.

Ellen wiped the blood from her chest, looking at the silver-haired girl again with newfound caution—and even a hint of shock.

The Spirit named Kaguya was simply terrifying. Her swordsmanship was beyond anything Ellen had imagined, almost unbelievable. No matter how fiercely she attacked, Kaguya blocked everything with ease, her single-handed grip on the sword never faltering. It was as if she could see through all of Ellen's moves, making her confident and unafraid.

The terrifying strike from just moments ago still lingered in Ellen's mind, her heart pounding uncontrollably.

This was the true sword of a killer, the kind that finds a flaw and strikes with lethal precision. How many lives must one take to hone such a terrifying skill?

Ellen once believed that no one, be it human or Spirit, could defeat her in her prime. But now, she realized that the beautiful girl in front of her was the true terror.

Yet, was she willing to surrender so easily?

Ellen bit her lip, clutching the light sword in her hand, her eyes showing a renewed determination.

"What?" Kaguya spun her sword gracefully and smiled slightly, "Still haven't learned your lesson?"

"How could I?" Ellen growled through gritted teeth, "You're just a mere Spirit, daring to act so arrogant in front of the world's strongest wizard—"

Before she could finish her sentence, her pupils shrank in horror.

"Why aren't you talking anymore?"

A soft voice came from behind her, but to Ellen's ears, it was like the voice of the devil itself.

Startled, Ellen tried to turn around, but it was too late.

A delicate, slender arm suddenly reached out and flicked her wrist. Instantly, her hand went numb, and the laser sword slipped from her grasp. In desperation, Ellen attempted to strike with her elbow while twisting her body to kick the opponent away. However, her wrist was seized, and her movements came to an abrupt halt. At the same time, a tremendous force surged through her body, and both her hands were wrenched behind her back, locked firmly in place.

Ellen struggled desperately, but no matter how hard she fought, she couldn't budge an inch.

"If this is the level of the so-called world's strongest wizard, I'm quite disappointed," came the warm breath near her ear, sending a shiver down Ellen's spine. Goosebumps appeared on her pale neck.

"I won't give up!" Ellen shouted defiantly, twisting her body in resistance.

Her struggles only accentuated her breasts, and her slender, white legs writhed seductively, exuding a mesmerizing allure.

Suddenly, Ellen froze. Her movements came to a stop as she felt a hand resting on her smooth thigh. The fingers slowly slid upwards, tracing along her flat abdomen and reaching her chest.

"You, you scoundrel!" Ellen's previously icy face turned beet red, and her words became jumbled. "What... what are you trying to do? Let go of me!"

"What am I trying to do? Don't you know by now?" Kaguya whispered, her breath hot against Ellen's ear. "Naughty kids need a good spanking, don't you think?"

With that, Kaguya tightened her grip, and in an instant, Ellen's body went limp, her mind turning to mush. If it weren't for Kaguya supporting her, she would have collapsed like a puddle on the ground.

"So sensitive," Kaguya mused with some surprise. "I wouldn't have guessed that the world's strongest wizard is such a... masochist. Tsk, tsk."

Hearing the mocking tone in Kaguya's voice, Ellen snapped back to reality. "You're the masochist! Let go of me!" she shouted, struggling once again, her hair whipping around like a fish out of water.

But unfortunately for her, her struggles were futile in front of Kaguya. They only made her seem more enticing, drawing Kaguya's interest even more.

"Let you go?" To Ellen's surprise, Kaguya chuckled. "Sure."

Ellen blinked in confusion. "You really mean it?"

"Of course." Kaguya's lips curved into an enigmatic smile. "But before that—"

With a loud crack, a crisp sound echoed from behind Ellen. Her pupils shrank in shock—her Realizer Unit had broken.

Kaguya had snapped it with her bare hands.

This was a device made from the strongest material in the world, boasting incredible defensive capabilities. And Ellen's particular gear was a custom design from the DEM Corp, far superior to the cheap equipment used by AST troops.

"Before you tame a kitten, you have to clip its claws first," Kaguya said with a sly grin. "Especially a disobedient one, right?"

"S-Stop!" Ellen cried out in panic, her voice trembling. Maybe it was because she had fEllen into her enemy's hands, but her previously strong-willed demeanor had suddenly become soft and weak, even her voice faltering.

But Kaguya ignored her pleas, continuing to dismantle Ellen's Realizer Unit piece by piece.

Before long, the once mighty device lay in shards on the ground, and Ellen herself had been stripped down, left vulnerable like a little lamb.
