Valerie's laughter was music to Greg's ears, easing his tension. "I think that's the nicest thing anyone's said about me, Ms. Trisha."

"Here's my card," Ms. Trisha said, extending a sleek, silver business card holder. "I'd love to discuss business."

Before Valerie could take the card, Greg snatched it and tucked it in his suit. "See you later, Trisha. We have other guests to welcome." Saying that, Greg turned to Valerie, his eyes gleaming with possessiveness.

He took off his suit jacket and draped it over her shoulders, the fabric enveloping her like a protective shield. "The air is cold. You should wear something thicker."

The air wasn't cold enough to require a jacket.

Valerie sensed his jealousy and couldn't help but giggle. Standing in front of him, she leaned in and sealed his lips, her kiss soft and reassuring.

Greg's tension melted away, replaced by desire. He deepened the kiss, his arms wrapping around her waist.
