Sullivan's departure from the remnant world marked his transition into Ai's world, leaving the brother gods powerless as their ability to intervene was rendered futile. With the destruction of the spacelock by Salem, Sullivan successfully eluded their grasp and ventured beyond their realm of influence.
He vowed to himself that he would go back when he was strong enough to judge the brother gods who treat their creation like cattle for divinity.
It was like parents abusing their offspring. It was the worst thing that could have happened to someone.
When they reached their destination. Sullivan gritted his teeth. That was his first real near death experience.
"Daijoubu desuka, Onii-Chan?" (Are you alright, Big Brother?)
Sullivan, who was feeling anger and frustration, was surprised and forgot about the bad feeling for a moment as he heard the sacred words coming out of Ai's mouth. This was the first time he had heard her speak Japanese.
And he could say that Ai might be really good if she chooses to be a voice actress.
"Ai, why are you speaking Japanese to me?"
Sullivan asked, genuinely surprised by Ai's sudden switch in language. He couldn't help but wonder if there was a specific reason behind her choice to speak Japanese at that moment.
Ai thought for a moment before telling him that she wanted him to hear her speak her mother tongue, and it made him almost melt at how cute she was.
Her voice sounded even more melodic and enchanting in Japanese, adding an extra layer of cuteness to their conversation.
"Onii-chan is okay now, right? Ai really worried when she saw Onii-chan's face earlier. Before we come here, Onii-chan shows Ai a really scary face."
Sullivan remembered that he told her to come to his side as quickly as possible. She didn't know the brother gods had descended and would almost succeed in killing him if Salem and Ozpin didn't interfere with them in time.
Sullivan explained to her that he had been in grave danger and that the brother gods had nearly succeeded in killing him. He expressed his gratitude towards Salem and Ozpin for intervening just in time to save him.
Ai, when she heard that the brother gods wanted to kill him. She was really angry and wanted to beat those gods to death. Her magic powers flared up. Sullivan couldn't help but use his own magic to cover her so her magic wouldn't affect normal people around them.
"It's okay Ai, Onii-chan is still fine, isn't it? Leave the matter of beating those gods to Onii-chan, okay? Onii-Chan will become so strong that they cannot even think of touching his hair!"
"Really?"
"Really, Really!"
Ai nodded, her anger slowly subsiding as she realized the importance of Sullivan's safety. She trusted in her brother's abilities and knew that he would find a way to overcome any threat that came their way. With resolve in her eyes, she vowed to help him as much as she could.
After talking to each other. The two then looked around them. They were now inside the room that Ai used before she left for the remnant world. Everything was still the same because time had stopped in Ai's world when she went to do a mission with everyone.
"Ai's will show Onii-chan her house! Come with Ai, Come with Ai!"
Ai became excited, as she wanted to show him her house.
She eagerly led him through the familiar hallways, pointing out the different rooms and sharing her little stories.
As they walked, Ai couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. This was the house she bought with her talents. Cheating abilities were still considered a talent, right?
"This will be Onii-Chan's room!"
Ai showed him the room where he would be staying. It was not that grand compared to his room in his world. but it was really great for Ai, who was just a kid, to have the ability to buy many things and decorate his room.
"I love it. Thank you, Ai-Chan."
Hearing him add Chan to her name. She couldn't help but be very happy. It was a small gesture, but it made Ai feel a strong connection to her big brother.
She smiled brightly and replied,
"You're welcome, Onii-Chan. I'm glad you love it. Let's make this room feel even more special together!"
As Ai talked about the room she chose and decorated for him,
He got messages from Hermione and Tsunade. The two of them were very worried about him. They asked if something bad happened when they went back to their world.
Sullivan replied to their message. He told them that he was okay. He had to explain everything that happened to them. Hermione went silent for a moment before she told them that she would research how mortals could kill gods.
Hermione: I will make them pay.
Tsunade: So scary. I felt killing intent come out of the message.
Sullivan sighed. He really loved Hermione, but she was too protective of him. He needed to do something about that before it escalated to the point where she walked down the path He didn't want her to.
Sullivan decided to have a serious conversation with Hermione about her overwhelming protectiveness. He knew that open communication was crucial for their relationship to thrive and for her to understand.
"You are back, my lady?"
As he talked to Ai and messaged Hermione and Tsunade. He heard someone.
"Oh, and who might you be?"
The woman looked surprised. She might not expect to see someone other than Ai. Sullivan knew this woman. He looked at Ai curiously as he wanted to know why she was here.
"She is my first apostle! Am I good, Onii-Chan?!"
"First apostle, Are you starting a cult, Ai?"
Sullivan looked at his cute little sister and thought that she might be able to do it purely by her cuteness.
He chuckled at the thought, but quickly dismissed it. Sullivan knew that Ai was mischievous, but starting a cult seemed a bit extreme. However, he couldn't deny her ability to charm people with her adorable nature. He turned his attention back to the woman, curious to hear more about her role as Ai's first apostle.
"Onii-Chan?"
The woman, Miyako Saitou, was surprised to see Ai call someone so intimately. And then it suddenly hit her. She knelt down immediately and started to pray.
"Dear God, This lowly servant pleaded for forgiveness. This lost lamb didn't know who she was talking to."
Miyako thought that Sullivan was a god because Ai was one. He was her brother, so he might be even stronger than Ai.
Sullivan when he heard her calling him God. He narrowed his eyes. He won't pretend like he was a god again, like in the previous world.
He now understands why Salem hated God so much.
"Don't call me God because I am not one. I am a Nephalem, I am no god."
Hearing his voice with such coldness. Miyako couldn't help but shake and nod. She now really looked like the lost lamb and didn't know what to do.
Sullivan sighed, realizing that his reaction had frightened Miyako. He softened his tone and reassured her.
"I apologize for my reaction. I didn't mean to scare you."
Miyako heard that, took a deep breath, and nodded. She heard him slip that he was no god but a Naphalem. She knew what Nephalem was.
'Nephalem should be considered a god too. right? He just had devil blood in him too.'
Sullvan, when he saw her, knew that she still thought of him as god. He couldn't help it. She could think whatever she wanted, but she couldn't treat him like one because he was already tired of it. He didn't know if Ai's world had gods or not.
'That's right, I came here to check If Ai's world is just a normal world or not. There is someone who peeps at her too.'
