Sullivan went to the office that Ozpin gave to Hermione.
She was waiting for him. Her face was full of worry. There was something in her mind that made her look like that.
"Hey, are you okay, sis?"
Sullivan asked her in concern. He had never seen her look so worried before. She was a strong-willed woman, something that made her look so worried must be very big.
Hermione when she saw Sullivan. She felt a little better. She came close to him and hugged him while telling him what was inside her mind.
"I found something very disturbing, Sol, The grimm wasn't soulless, like anyone said. There are millions upon millions of souls inside them, and they were tortured. They were inside something like a cage, and it was connected to something... Something that is vile like him..."
Hermione began to tell Sullivan everything. Sullivan, who heard that, could only sigh. Yeah, His luck was too good for him to not know anything.
And it was a good thing that he knew something like this before a major change in the story happened.
He hugged Hermione tighter, then carried her to a sofa nearby and sat on it while putting her on his lap.
"Don't worry about it, sis. I felt the situation wasn't as bad as you thought. If they come, we can just take everyone with us before they wipe out everything."
Sullivan trusted his intuition very much. He felt like it was going to be okay. So it was going to be okay.
Hermione, when she heard him and saw how confident and carefree he was, felt a lot calmer.
That's right. If push comes to shove, they just have to bring everyone with them to their world.
It might be a little hard, but not impossible.
"You're right."
Hermione smiled. She then snuggled him. The two stayed like that for a while until someone knocked on the door.
"Professor Hermione, are you in there?"
It was Glinda who knocked at the door. Hermione and Sullivan looked at each other before they decided that they didn't have to move away from each other. To them, Glinda was family.
Hermione called her here because she wanted to tell her about them. She had already accepted being a member of the guild.
She thought they were gods and goddesses from some kind of ancient mythology. Who would have thought that they were much more than that? Especially Sullivan, whom she thought was an offspring of the great god.
He made her feel like he was favored by heaven.
The door opened on its own, and when Glinda walked inside the office, her face went red.
"D-Did I interrupt your private time?"
"Oh no, Why do you think like that? We are family, so there's no private time. We can share, you know."
"Eh, Well then."
Glinda fixed her glasses a little bit. She then walked closer to them. She wasn't young anymore, so she wouldn't fuss over something like that.
She sat on the sofa near them and acted like she didn't see Hermione sitting on Sullivan's lap at all.
"Well, I have to speak with Glinda about us. She had some understanding but needed more in depth formation."
Sullivan nodded and let it be Hermione's duty to explain things more in depth to her. And while she explained about the guild and their duty to her, she teased Sullivan in front of Glinda to see her reaction.
It looked like Hermione had so many kinks inside her head. They said that strict women always had some kink inside them. Hermione and Glinda could be an example to them.
…
Adam was now having a hard time fighting with Roman. He was losing.
"How can you be this strong?! It is impossible!"
Adam was sure that he hadn't been that strong in the past few months.
"Well, well, well~ Everything is possible in this world. No in the multiverse, I tell you, haha. But you didn't need to know more about that. I can only tell you that you stepped on the wrong foot, kid."
Roman smacked his cane on Adam's face, sending him back a few meters. His Aura was running low now. A few hits on it, and it will be depleted.
Roman, all this time, was toying with him and didn't take him seriously.
Adam knew that he couldn't win, so he looked for his people.
"Where are they?"
He heard someone shout at him that they would help him, but suddenly all of them disappeared.
And when he was looking around he then felt a chill run down his spine.
"Stop playing and kill him already."
Adam heard a cute female voice, and then he felt pain in his chest. He looked at his chest and saw a sword coming out of it.
Adam puked up blood. Someone stabbed him in the back, and the sword passed through his aura without him knowing it. The sword had a light blue aura around it, but he knew it wasn't aura.
'So... This is the end.'
Adam then saw the place spin around before he saw his body without a head and a little girl who killed him. This was too much. How can he die like that?
