Capítulo 69: Devil

In the quiet atmosphere of his room, Conrad sat cross-legged on his bed. He had closed his eyes and steadied his breathing. 

He was in deep concentration, after Shera and Rain had left like that with the Young Master, he needed answers, he wanted to know what happened after and what was happening to her. 

The events from earlier replayed in his head. 

While he stood motionless amidst the wreckage, Connie had considered letting the situation resolve itself because any further involvement might just worsen the situation, and the words Raine had told him still lingered in his mind. 

Nonetheless, he refused to leave it alone. If he was going to be accused of something, he at least wanted to know what it was and what punishment would be thrown his way. 

Waiting around while doing nothing wasn't an option.
