Capítulo 125: Chp-125: The Sceptre of God

The Four-Tails glanced over, a trace of amazement flashing in its eyes. Indeed, Satoru's energy had weakened considerably.

"It seems that I am the final victor!" Ōnoki rasped, laughing.

In this state, how many more times could Satoru still strike? If they could hold out, they would win.

On their side, the Four-Tails had taken little damage and retained most of its combat power.

They just needed to hold on until Satoru could no longer sustain himself, and a fully-powered tailed beast would be enough to finish him off.

Satoru panted heavily, sweat dripping from his forehead. Suddenly, a playful smile appeared on his face.

"Indeed, the time left in Tyrant Mode is running out. At most, I can use one more move."

So that technique is called Tyrant, huh? Ōnoki's eyes flickered.

"But even with just one move, it's enough."

Satoru closed his eyes and took a deep breath. The remnants of Godzilla, destroyed by the Tailed Beast Bomb, began to coalesce in front of him...

...

"Jiraiya-sama, this looks bad," a sensor ninja reported nervously to Jiraiya.

"After that explosion, I sensed that Satoru's chakra weakened significantly, while the Four-Tails seemed largely unaffected."

"I understand." Jiraiya's face darkened.

Uchiha Rin bit her lip, about to rush to support Satoru.

The sensor ninja suddenly gasped in shock. "Wait, something's changing!"

Everyone looked hurriedly, mouths agape.

"That's..."

...

"What is that!"

"A metal pillar???"

"What is he trying to do?"

Ōnoki stared in astonishment at Satoru ascending into the sky, carrying a massive metal pillar.

The view below shrank, even the massive form of the Four-Tails becoming a mere dot. The battered plains looked even smaller from above.

Satoru had pushed his chakra to the limit.

On Zero's end, energy continued to convert into chakra, flowing to him endlessly.

The cold wind grew stronger, stinging his body.

After flying for about 9,000 meters, Satoru felt he had touched the stratosphere, reaching his limit.

With the electromagnetic force pushed to its extreme, it didn't take long to reach this height.

"This should be enough. Ōnoki, get ready to face my final wrath."

He gazed coldly at the ground below.

The massive chakra of the Four-Tails was clearly perceptible even from here.

Entering launch trajectory...

Sceptre of God charging...

Charging complete!

Setting up acceleration field...

Calculating Coriolis force...

Calculating gravitational acceleration...

Target locked...

Locked!

Sceptre of God!

"Fire!"

Satoru roared.

This is my final strike, Ōnoki!!!

On the ground, Ōnoki stared in confusion at the sky.

"Did he escape? No, why would he carry such a large metal pillar if he was fleeing?"

He couldn't figure it out.

However, if Satoru had indeed fled, that would also be a good thing. With the remaining forces, they could still crush the leftover Konoha troops.

From that perspective, Iwa still...

"What is that..."

Ōnoki's eyes widened in shock.

In the distant sky, like a meteor, the pillar engulfed in flames plummeted towards them.

"The target seems to be us. It appears this is his so-called final strike."

Old Purple's voice echoed through the Four-Tails.

He quickly turned to Ōnoki and shouted.

"Old man, run. The Four-Tails and I will block this attack."

"No! As the Tsuchikage, how can I abandon my subordinates and run away!"

"Old man!"

Old Purple's roar exploded in his ear, leaving him momentarily stunned.

"I, Old Purple, have never asked you for anything in my life. Today, I beg you for the only time, run! You are the Tsuchikage. If you die, Iwagakure is finished!"

Ōnoki stood dazed, his remaining arm falling limply.

"Han! You are the fastest; take the Tsuchikage away!"

"I understand!"

Han took a deep breath, hoisting Ōnoki onto his shoulder, and with steam propulsion, dashed away at high speed.

Old Purple took a deep breath, a faint smile appearing on his face.

In his mindscape, he spoke apologetically.

"Sorry, Son! I'll need you to hold the rear with me."

"Haha, Old Purple, I never thought a stubborn rock like you would speak so gently."

"Let's see how strong his final strike is!"

The Four-Tails opened its mouth wide, rapidly charging a Tailed Beast Bomb, the size of which far surpassed any previous ones.

A kinetic bombardment weapon, ideally made of tungsten, is dense and has a high melting point.

Though Satoru's metal pillar was not made of tungsten, it was compressed with electromagnetic force, matching tungsten in density and burn point.

With an initial acceleration from the electromagnetic field, its initial speed surpassed the speed of sound.

The descent primarily relied on Earth's gravity for acceleration, reaching a terminal velocity of about 7 Mach, approximately 2,400 m/s.

The entire process took less than ten seconds.

The destructive power mainly came from the kinetic energy released. The metal pillar weighed about 800 kilograms.

Based on the energy formula, the impact would release around 4.6 billion joules of energy.

Roughly equivalent to 1,097.1428 kilograms of TNT.

Equivalent to about 1/15000th of Little Boy.

Of course, the energy released by the Sceptre of God was kinetic, different from nuclear or high-explosive energy, so the attack range was much smaller.

But the attack was more focused!

"This is bad!"

The Four-Tails' eyes shrank, realizing there wasn't enough time to release the Tailed Beast Bomb before the Sceptre of God hit.

A terrifying force exploded, reducing everything to stillness amidst the destruction.

Han's speed had reached its peak, yet the shockwave caught up, sending him flying.

Even several kilometres away, Uchiha Rin saw the terrifying explosion.

Compared to this, previous Tailed Beast Bombs seemed minuscule.

"Satoru!"

She screamed, trying to rush over.

Seconds later, the shockwave reached, sending her flying and crashing to the ground.

The Konoha ninjas instinctively shielded themselves against the blast.

Weaker ninjas were knocked over.

Uchiha Rin struggled to rise, her ears ringing and temporarily deafened, hearing only a constant buzzing.

"Rin, don't go. It's too dangerous!"

Shino tried to stop her.

Uchiha Rin turned. Her tear-streaked face, with red eyes, revealed three spinning tomoes transforming into black, flower-petal shapes.

"Move!"

Her voice was icy.

Shino stood frozen.

"Is that..."

In that brief moment of distraction, Uchiha Rin had already rushed towards the impact site.

She ran desperately across the ruined plains towards the deep crater left by the collision.

"Satoru..."

Tears streamed from her flower-petal-shaped Sharingan.

She saw a figure falling from the sky within the crater, and she leapt forward without hesitation to catch him.

Satoru's body plummeted from the sky.

On his forehead, something black seemed to be disintegrating, turning into black smoke and dissipating...

A figure leapt up, catching him tightly.

"Satoru!"

Those petal-patterned Sharingan seemed to flash with a crimson glow.

The right eye moved, red light enveloping Satoru's body.

"Wait... Rin..."

Lying on her lap, Satoru weakly smiled up at her.

"I'm not dead, just exhausted..."

Uchiha Rin froze, then joyfully wiped away her tears. She buried her face in Satoru's chest and held him tightly.

She sobbed uncontrollably.

"Bastard! Bastard! Bastard..."

"Satoru, you bastard!"

"Ow! It hurts, Rin, be gentle..."

Satoru struggled to extend an arm from her chest, groaning in pain.

In the crater left by the impact, Uchiha Rin's cries echoed incessantly.

...

Konoha Year 48.

Ōnoki and two Jinchūriki led over 8,000 Iwa ninjas to battle Konoha on the northern plains of Kusagakure.

On that day.

Whether in the south in Hi no Kuni, west in Amegakure, east in Takigakure and Tetsu no Kuni, or most of Tsuchi no Kuni, everyone saw a blazing meteor descending from the sky.

In this battle, the Four-Tails Jinchūriki died, Ōnoki returned with only one arm, and soon after, announced his retirement, succeeded by his eldest son, Kurotsuchi, as the Fourth Tsuchikage.

In this battle, the name Tyrant echoed throughout the ninja world, with many calling him the man closest to the God of Shinobi.

In this battle, a crater nearly a hundred meters deep formed on the northern plains of Kusagakure, eventually turning into a lake after subsequent rains.

Due to its unique origin, it was later known by ninjas as:

The Site of the Meteor's Fall.
