A squad, armed to the teeth, moved carefully through the bushes, an eerie silence surrounding them.

Tang Zelin crouched down at a certain spot and whispered to War Wolf Captain Yao Ke.

"Grey Wolf, something's off here."

Yao Ke, gripping his heavy gun, observed his surroundings with eagle eyes. On hearing this, he responded in a low voice, "Blood Wolf, I feel the same. All units, hold positions, stay hidden, over."

In an instant, team members vanished from sight.

In the woods, the wind rustled the leaves with a whooshing sound, creating an atmosphere heavy with tension. The scent of danger was all around yet there was no trace of the enemy to be found, which was indeed strange.
