Xiao Han held Chen Zihan in his arms.

Chen Zihan lay in Xiao Han's embrace like a small bird, still and silent, and Xiao Han knew that something must be hidden inside her heart. He was aware that Chen Zihan was leaving the day after tomorrow and presumed that her melancholy must be due to this.

"What!" As soon as Xiao Han heard this, it struck him like a thunderbolt out of a clear sky. In that instant, his mind went blank and he nearly fainted. Staring at Chen Zihan in disbelief, he said, "What... what did you just say?"

"I said I'm engaged!" Chen Zihan looked up at Xiao Han.

"When did this happen?" Xiao Han asked urgently.
