Capítulo 21: Chapter 21 Imprint
Daji was very happy that Naruto's mind was finally strong enough to come inside his mindscape.
She had been waiting for this day to come.
Naruto let his guard down a little bit but still looked at her with his suspicious eyes.
Even though she had helped him in the past. He still wasn't sure about her motive.
'Listen, Naruto. The one who asked me to help you was someone you have to be wary of. I don't know if she helped you for any ulterior motive or not. But she is very dangerous.'
Tsunade had told him about Daji. She didn't tell him that she was a bad person. She just wanted him to be careful when he were to meet her again.
"Who are you? And why did you help me?"
Naruto asked directly. If she were to lie to him. He would know right away.
His ability to distinguish between truth and lie was working on her.
"Why did I help you before? That's because you are very important to me!"
'It's the truth.'
"And why am I so important to you?"
"Because I love you!"
'T–That is still the truth."
"W–Why do you love me?"
"Because you are my kit!"
'I am her son? Wait, it shouldn't be possible, right?'
"Moh, don't sweat about the little details, come here to me! I miss you very much, Naruto-chan!"
Daji didn't waste time and brought Naruto to her with her tails. Her tails were very fluffy and soft.
Naruto felt really good being embraced with her tails.
Daji then kissed him on the cheek. She hugged him like she was afraid that he would disappear before her.
"C–Can you let me go please?"
Naruto was just shy. To be honest, he still wanted to be in her embrace. And Daji knew that because she was the one who gave him the ability to see through lies and negativity.
Even though her very being consisted of negative energy. But to Naruto, she was just a lovely stepmother(Self appointed).
"Just give me five minutes more and I will let you go I promise."
Naruto didn't refuse and even hugged her back. She gave him a feeling that she had never felt before. It was different from being hugged by Xiao Yue who he came to think of as a mother.
"Now, it's time to part. I am very reluctant."
Daji sighed and let Naruto go. She smiled at him and kissed his cheek one more time.
"I have something very important to tell you, Naruto-chan."
It was finally the time for her to confess.
"What is it?"
Naruto was ready to hear what she was going to say. He could tell that it might be something that hard to say for her to show such a pression on her face.
"My name is Daji, I–I am the Nail-tailed demon fox that everyone was afraid of. I have been living inside you since you were just a baby. And your parents died because they needed to seal me inside you and…"
Daji explained everything in one go. She didn't want any misunderstanding in the future. She knew what it would end up when she was also the one who died because of a misunderstanding.
'If we speak our heart out would everything change? Can I really not change fate?'
Naruto absorbed everything that she had told him and he went silent a little bit.
Daji wondered if it was too much for a ten years old kid to hear such a heavy thing.
Daji felt very afraid that Naruto would reject her but what happened next made her surprised very much.
Naruto hugged her and said,
"It was very hard on you. You have been confined in the cage even though you can leave anytime. But because of me you were in so much pain. I am sorry."
Naruto sobbed and then began to cry. He could relate to her in some aspect and he would never condemn her like the villagers did to him.
It wasn't her fault from the start. She just died and was reborn in a situation where she had no control over.
"Naruto-chan!"
Daji hugged Naruto back and they cried together. No one ever showed her this kindness before.
Only Naruto would understand her.
They cried together for some time before they stopped and then talked to each other about many things.
Daji knew everything about him but he didn't know anything about her at all. He wanted to know more about her but there was something important he wanted to ask her.
"Daji-san, The seal is broken but why don't you just go out?"
Hearing that, Daji shook her head.
"I can't just go out like this as Naruto-chan isn't strong enough yet and I came to love this place and didn't want to go anywhere. I want to be with Naruto-chan forever and ever!"
Daji smiled beautifully. Naruto's face went a little red. She was too beautiful. Even Tsunade couldn't compare to her in terms of beauty.
"Is that so? Then It can't be helped. I will let you stay inside me for as long as you want. Daji-san."
"Now that everything is clear between us. I will teach you everything about cultivation and forbidden ninjutsu."
Daji didn't have to teach him as she could just imprint the memory into his mind directly.
"Wow…"
Naruto felt good. Daji was very gentle in giving him memories. She didn't forcefully imprint the memories into his mind.
He still needed time to accumulate everything and made them his own.
