Capítulo 14: Chapter 14 : The Three-Body Technique!!

Over the past year, nearly two years, Iruka's perception of Masato has gradually changed. To be precise, this version of Umino Iruka is indeed a person with a kind-hearted nature.

He has come to understand the difference between Jinchūriki and the tailed beasts with greater clarity.

Unlike the general public, who react with fear, rejection, and even disgust towards Jinchūriki, Iruka interacts with him day in and day out, sensing the subtle shifts in his own feelings.

This gradual change in Iruka's attitude also makes things complicated for Masato.

Previously, aside from his special feelings for Naruto as his younger brother and a bit of favoritism towards Hinata due to his past, he had little regard for others in Konoha.

But now, Iruka's evolving attitude creates a sense of 'restraint' for Masato. This might be part of Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen's strategy, similar to how he himself approached matters.

What complicates things further is the fact that Iruka's sincerity is palpable. Unlike the calculated utilitarianism sometimes felt from others, Iruka's genuine care and concern are evident.

He sees himself as a mentor and caretaker for those who need support, such as Masato.

Given the circumstances, it's clear that Iruka is able to empathize deeply, especially since they share the experience of being orphans.

This makes it difficult for Masato to determine how to respond to Iruka, particularly looking ahead. After all, Masato is not completely cold-hearted and cannot ignore the kindness and sincerity shown by others.

It can only be said that it is a step forward; we'll discuss it further once we see how things develop.

Iruka is keen on giving more attention to Masato's progress, which is a positive sign. At least it means Iruka can give Masato some extra focus.

Don't be deceived by Iruka's seemingly modest appearance as a shinobi. It's important to recognize that in the ninja world, reaching the rank of Chūnin indicates a certain level of talent.

Not to mention, Iruka's role as a teacher at the ninja academy suggests he has a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge.

The fact that he has successfully mentored many of the next generation's ninja prodigies, including Naruto, and Sasuke, further proves his capability in guiding young ninjas.

Konoha is a large ninja village. The choice of Iruka to teach Masato's class, rather than someone else, speaks volumes about his skills and trustworthiness.

Consequently, Masato has great confidence in Iruka regarding fundamental training.

Observing Masato's learning attitude and ability, Iruka is also willing to provide extra guidance outside of regular classes.

For instance, the basic techniques that ninjas need to master during their academy years—the Transformation Technique, the Substitution Technique, and the Clone Technique—are usually taught at a later stage.

However, Masato has already learned them ahead of schedule.

Masato's progress is remarkable, especially considering the absence of interference from the Nine-Tails' chakra. In less than a week, Masato has learned these three basic techniques.

Of course, learned here means a preliminary ability to use them effectively. But it still left Iruka astonished.

The Three-Body Technique is considered fundamental, but learning it is not easy and demands significant chakra control.

When Iruka himself was learning the Three-Body Technique, it took him over a week to master each technique. The Clone Technique, in particular, was quite challenging and took him even longer.

Seeing that Masato has managed to master all three techniques in just a week was truly impressive.

Naturally, Iruka was amazed.

However, Masato wasn't entirely satisfied.

The reason being:

*Bang!*

*Crash!*

When it came to the mastery of the technique, the result was still somewhat lacking.

He looked at the small piece of debris that had fallen to the ground, his brow furrowed slightly.

To elaborate:

The Substitution Jutsu is the easiest of the three basic techniques to learn, but it's also the most challenging to use effectively because it relies heavily on precise timing.

Unlike space-based ninjutsu, the Substitution Jutsu does not involve any spatial manipulation.

If it did involve spatial techniques, would it still be one of the fundamental techniques taught at the ninja academy?

It wouldn't make sense.

In simple terms, this technique is more of a trick.

In high-level ninja combat, it's not completely useless, but achieving a deceptive effect with it is quite difficult.

It's similar to the Transformation Jutsu and the Clone Jutsu in terms of effectiveness.

The effectiveness is still there, but it heavily depends on the skill of the user.

Of course, there are advanced forms of the Clone Jutsu, such as the Water Clone, Earth Clone, and Shadow Clone, which are much more powerful.

A Substitution Jutsu is just a Substitution Jutsu.

If the timing isn't right,

it can become a laughingstock.

It's not necessary to perfect this technique to the highest level, but he wants to make sure this training method is effectively taught.

He'll continue to refine this techniques.

It's a win-win situation.

The same goes for transformation techniques—there's nothing wrong with keeping them in top shape.

This is not something that can be mastered overnight.

It requires time and continuous practice.

It still needs a bit more time, or perhaps it should be tested in real combat for better results!

Masato touched his chin, deep in thought.

Training is the most direct way to enhance one's skill and strength, but the most effective method is always actual combat.

Self-training can be somewhat less engaging.

Only real battles can truly advance a ninja's abilities, especially life-and-death struggles that push ninjas to break through their limits and provide extensive experience.

"If possible, why not go back and consult Iruka-sensei? That might be a good idea, right?"

Just as this thought crossed his mind.

"Masato!"

A clear voice rang out, and then Iruka's familiar figure came into view not far away.

"Huh? Iruka-sensei, what are you doing here?"

Seeing Iruka, Masato hurriedly greeted him and asked.

"I came by to find you at home, but since you weren't there, I figured you'd be here. All your ninja equipment was worn out before, so I brought you a new set. Don't use the old, worn-out gear anymore."

Iruka smiled slightly and then took out a sealing scroll from his robe, performing a series of hand seals.

"Poof."

A burst of white mist appeared and quickly dissipated.

"Poof."

A slightly heavy ninja bag materialized right in front of Masato.
