Alessia shook her head, tears spilling down her cheeks. "You're not dangerous to me. You're still the same person. I know you are."

His gaze softened for a brief moment, but it was fleeting. His face hardened again, and he took a step closer to the glass, his eyes locking onto hers. "You don't know me, Alessia. You only knew what I let you see. Xavier was just a mask, a lie I created to survive. The man you loved never existed."

Alessia's heart broke at his words, but she refused to back down. "That's not true. You're more than just the lies you told to stay alive. I know there's still good in you, Giovanni."

He scoffed, shaking his head. "You're wasting your time. I can feel the mutation taking over my senses. It's getting worse, and every second I spend here, I'm losing more of myself."

She wiped at her tears, her voice thick with emotion. "Then let me help you! We can find a way to fix this. We can fight it together."
