Capítulo 203: The Weight of Submission

Hirvan stood across Fu Yan and Lu Hanbing, the weight of the decision pressing on him. Every nerve in his body was tense, but he resolved to steel himself to accept Fu Yan's suggestion, no matter how much it stung his pride.

"Yes, I won't say anything even if you beat me up. I just want you to forgive me."

Hirvan spoke, his voice barely above a whisper.

Fu Yan's gaze never left Hirvan's face, studying his expression with intensity. Seeing his sincerity, the corner of his mouth stretched upward.

He glanced at Lu Hanbing, a silent exchange passing between them before Fu Yan spoke again. 

"Great. Now crawl here."

Hirvan, seeing the smile on Fu Yan's face, felt his beating heart calm down. He thought the smile was a good sign. Maybe Fu Yan had softened, had forgiven him, even if only a little. But then, his words were like a buckle of cold water, making him shiver from fright.
