It was very much a surprise to see that Fervene was able to show me something that interested me. I knew that I had to take up her offer no matter what.

Just moments after I agreed to Fervene's proposal, the door to my bedroom burst open with a sudden force. My heart raced as Fervis stood framed in the doorway, her apron still clinging to her body. I watched her chest rise and fall with the breath she must have been holding, and her wide, startled eyes locked onto mine, searching my face with confusion. The silence between us was heavy, thick with the unspoken tension that seemed to fill the room. Suddenly, Fervis finally spoke and broke the silence that had developed between us.

"I heard a loud bang, Mimi, are you alright-Fervene?! What are you doing here?"
